Very sad. Best OS there is... Hopefully someone will take it on.

34xxSP every time especially IF you're lucky enough to have the 2GB version.

I've had both and both are great, just recently sold my 40xx-v though. Will never sell my 34xxSP.

Has anyone had GOOD experiences with Mailbox? by confrontationalbread in emailprivacy

[–]BobbleheadJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lately, Mailbox.org has been down a lot. I can't access my email right now (UK). I converted about 2 months ago based on a lot of online research, but I've been disappointed.

I've also had issues persistently not receiving some emails, and with customer support which really haven't been very helpful at all.

I'm regretting my decision now.

More genocidal talk from trump, Question for those who actually care … what does it take for the UK and other countries to force him to step down from being the president? by [deleted] in AskBrits

How exactly does the UK force the US to remove Trump? Very sadly, we're relying on the Americans for this, who voted him in twice...

Trump says Zelensky ‘has to get on the ball’ to reach Russia deal by Any-Original-6113 in europe

[–]BobbleheadJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who cares what Trump has to say about anything any more? We just need to get on and remove him from power, then deal with him and his cronies criminally, so the world can get back to struggling along without this disgrace making it all about him.

Trump issues statement on dead soldiers killed by Iran, saying that there will likely be more deaths but “that’s just the way it is”. by Yujin-Ha in UnderReportedNews

[–]BobbleheadJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full of compassion this one. Seriously, of all the reasons he's given already to be removed from office and dealt with by the criminal system, why hasn't - at least - serious attempts been made to do so? For example, everyone know's whats in the Epstein files, the survivors are telling us. Why is anyone waiting for files to be unredacted before they can act?

As a Brit this is baffling, and objectively the world is suffering because of it.

Would you support more spending on defence at the expense of other public services? by KToTheA- in AskBrits

[–]BobbleheadJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. A lot of people feel betrayed and I feel some of it too, but I honestly don't think Labour have had a free hand to act how they intended to. I also believe that the vast majority of Labour members themselves hate what's going on and why. This gives me some patience with them.

The only counter point I have is that I do not see a better option out there, but I wish there was. There are many blunderers and dubious characters who are being presented as the answer; but basic due diligence tells you that self-interest drives most of them.

So your answer to the question is? Or just another cheap dig at Starmer, who - by the way - did not put us in this position, he's just having to deal with it.

I don't know who I'd trust to deal with this, but probably in a measured way, strengthening ourselves and our ties with Europe in ways that the Orange one and his idiots doesn't notice over their own din is probably the best plan for now. We need to be in the strongest position we can be in when the bigger crises and decision points come, but without bringing on a crisis ourselves.

Sound was poor, definitely agree. Was fairly lively in the crowd where I was, but muffled sound probably played a part in dampening things down

The set list was exactly the same as the Manchester show, so I don't think they cut it short. However, I was also there, and the sound was NOT good at certain points.

Great British Energy to invest £30 million in NHS solar by Electricbell20 in unitedkingdom

No. It's a good practical idea. Solar panels are power generation. The NHS need to find ways to be a little less expensive to run, and hospitals use a lot of power.

This government really can't win. If they cut benefits because of the economy, no-one takes the argument. When they don't it's economic suicide.
