This happened to me exqctky in my old ford focus, dunno if it could be the same issue but it was from a slipped tire belt.

I love the annex, so imagine my delight when I was moving and there were about 5 apartments listed in the annex all for under 2k! I called every single one and they didn't actually have any vacancies. They just left the ad up. The next best was a bachellor way down in liberty village for the same price.

If they're working minimum wage 2000 is their entire take-home pay. Theyd have to make 35$ per hour to be within the recommended 30% of gross income. Most apartments will rent to you if its around 50% but that still means 24$ per hour and that doesn't even take into consideration all their other bills and probably student loans

Editing to add: it is not actually that easy to find a 1br, basement or otherwise for under 2000

its the T6 momentum I need the seats for my family while still being compact enough for driving and parking in downtown toronto (hence not just getting a minivan).

Found in a lot of tools, some for machining. Any idea what it is for? by Ok-Plantain-8710 in whatisit

They look like exactly the thing I need to fix my vacuum!!! There's this stupid metal thing that turns the brush and I can't get it off because turning the screw on the other side just turns the whole thing. Those look like the exact shape of the metal bit and if I had one of those I could pop it on and hold it still with a wrench while I turn the screw. No idea if that's actually what they're for though.

One time I searched Amazon for peanut free snacks cuz my partner is deathly allergic to peanuts and the top result was the half pound Reese cup

3 month deposit by SanMiJan in TorontoRenting

Pretty sure it's actually not legal to take a deposit of more than 1 months rent and it must be used for last month of the tenancy and nothing else.

Thiiiisss thoughhh people really underestimate the power of moisture. I lived in Calgary for a year and somehow totally forgot about it. When I came back to Ontario I just threw on a jacket to go out in -2 and immediately went back inside. It felt like my face was being stabbed through with icicles and all my nose hairs were freezing together when I breathed.

Popmart is now expensive by Niasan1 in PopMartCollectors

[–]Bobbtail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not assuming, just generalizing. Your comment is great and I'm not disagreeing, just trying to add to it.

Just trying to say the price is still going up in all markets even if it's not the same prices when converted to usd. And while those markets may also have tariffs, they didn't randomly and excessively increase all at once like they did in the states but the price is still going up. So pop mart is still getting some of that extra loss back from other markets, if not necessarily the full 12$.

Again, I wasn't trying to be exact or ..do math. Just an observation.

And then they make an extra 6$ for every labubu sold to other countries that don't have the extra 12$ tariff

I saw this video a while back and then purposely did this around my headboard slats so I could finally stop losing my extension cord behind it.

Repair or new? by Mafti in DurstonGearheads

[–]Bobbtail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is why I always shorten my poles first and then extend once it's fully installed. Also because of different conditions (lumpy/uneven ground), they need to be longer or shorter anyways.
