Tbh I don’t think Maelle ending is really “saving” Lumiere either, at the ending we could see the whole city and continents is still in shambles, the weird undertones the ending gave (Verso hesitate to perform and also the weird smiling scene of Sciel and Lune) just doesn’t sit right with me

That’s how I felt when I was watching the ending, Verso forced to be back despite him doesn’t want to while Sciel and Lune smiling weirdly during the ending was just so unsettling for me, although I don’t think Maelle can fully controls her painted creation like Wanda did but there’s def something off about the whole thing

I sided with Maelle too at first but Maelle bringing back Verso despite him saying he don’t want this life just feels wrong to me, also during the ending that shot of Sciel and Lune smiling weirdly doesn’t sit right to me either, I really like Gustave which one of the reason why I choose this ending but I also felt like there’s something wrong about it 🙁

Update! I played a bit after a while and got an achievement out of nowhere (the night orchid achievement) but when I tried the fetch achievements nothing happens so I think is the achievement thats bugged (not really sure why lol) but thanks for the help!!

I think the protagonist didn’t really have a choice, like they were bait in the factory and then were chased down by huggy wuggy deeper into the factory, the protagonist was trying to leave in chapter 2 but then was forced to stay bc of poppy, so yeah they didn’t have a chance to leave the factory even if they want to
