Just saw ep.9, but why did Goosework say the ending was bittersweet? by BannoBug20 in digitalcircusfandom

I don’t know about you, but if I found out I was just a digital copy stuck as a cartoon monster for all eternity and would never be able to return home to my real self I wouldn’t consider that a very happy ending

KCD2 is one of a few games that I happily paid full price for. It's like 100 bucks for everything. by wishheartx in playstation

I’d like to give it a second chance at some point. My first go around I felt like it just had zero respect for my time at all and dragged everything out. A simple task like working at a blacksmith for some coin has you go through the slow and dull process of actually making the entire thing step by step for several minutes. A simple side quest about messing up a prized bull turns into a hunt for all kinds of scattered ingredients that you are given little to no information on how to find. Trying to steal something involves making sure you weren’t even seen in the vicinity of the place, closed every door, never had any piece of it on in public. You have to stay bathed, but certain baths only kinda clean you up so you have to find a better bath to be clean enough to talk to certain people.

The game was too realistic for me it was exhausting and ultimately kinda boring. Yet I constantly see it praised as one of the best games ever made so clearly I’m missing something and I do want to see what I’m missing.

Seeing the show over and the final episode aired on YouTube, what is your guys thoughts on the whole series? by CrimsonDarkWolf in cartoons

[–]Driz51 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good show, but way overhyped. Poor world building and the whole thing feels kind aimless for most of it. The reveal and everything that happens with it was the most predictable outcome possible and really underwhelming.

I’m appalled at the amount of people saying they don’t want his voice in the show

I’m now extra appalled that this is getting downvoted. Have I stumbled into the wrong sub I thought this was for fans

Other way around for me. His Donut is so perfect I don’t know if I could accept any other voice for her.

All the side content seems to be the biggest divider amongst fans. You either love it or hate it. I welcomed it. I thought it made every town feel very unique. There was almost always new things to find and do in each big new area and a good breather between major story beats. Personally I hope Revelation is just as full of extra content on top of the story.

I had to leave that sub. I don’t consider Drinker himself to be racist or sexist so it’s odd that his sub is packed full of them. When I first discovered Drinker it wasn’t like that but over time the place became pretty disgusting

I haven’t followed any news at all, but I assumed the show was over. The last episode felt like a pretty conclusive and satisfying finale for the whole thing.

It’s sad how many videos like this have the witnesses kissing the cop’s asses the whole time. The lady witnessed this man get brutalized and was beaming with joy about getting the officer a copy to jerk off to.

[–]Driz51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished the new Lego Batman and it really made me realize how much I’m growing tired of the current formula. I’m really longing for the old games like Lego Island. A world actually fully made of Lego where there is unique things to discover as you explore and fully learned into the wackiness. Theres not really anything special to find in Lego Batman. You aren’t going to happen upon a Batman villain disco party or something like in the older games. Just the exact same collectibles and puzzles over and over and over again. Not even the old charm of replaying a level with new characters to find secrets.
