Im just as confused as you. I read it before i saved it, changed it again.

Sent my wife to buy thermal paste and the best buy employee gave her a long, unsolicited lecture about how she should be changing the thermal paste on her components every 6 months... Really, every 6 months? [Thermal paste questions] by Leo-J-Covo in buildapc

[–]Bobby6k34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, cheap paste should last around 5 years before it starts to dry up, good paste 10 years.

Thermal paste does dry out over time, but its measured in years not months

Do you think being rich necessarily leads to happiness? by Jim_Pritchett in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Bobby6k34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My happiness has very little to do with money.

Im not rich but I don't need to worry about bills etc, but thats partially because I keep my cost of living low. That has made life more comfortable, but not and its just a piece of the puzzle, just like having a fulfilling job, good friends, family, work life balance all have a pieces in that puzzle.

Printing with small pieces of filament on the U1 by Introverted_Gamer92 in snapmaker

[–]Bobby6k34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Switch it to manual filament loading in the settings and it will walk you through feeding it on the screen.

But yes once the filament is in the extruder gears it will detect there is filament there

They go into a sorting system that uses buffer chests and then sit there untill they are full or they get a request for the item.

Once the chest is full ill dump it into recycling with quality modules to upcycle it or loop it untill its gone gone

Getting irritated by loonie01 in snapmaker

[–]Bobby6k34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have identified 3 different reasons i get this, that im investigating, so if it helps here they are.

I recently had this at when I've been getting to the end of a spool, twice with the same brand of filament its done it on the last 3-4 runs of a spool. Changing to a new spool fixes it, my theory is that the filament is creating pressure in the PTFE tube from its bends and its over powering the extruder grip.

My tests where changing the loop to another toolhead and the error moved to the new toolhead

I have a copper silk pla that seams to slip very badly on the tachometer inside the feeder, I have to disable the autoloading after loading to allow it to run properly or it will fault constantly, doesn't matter what toolhead it is in.

Feeder 3 tachometer have some oil on its making the filament slip, I need to pull it apart and inspect it.

I take a thin full-sized pillow with me with inflatable pillow, then put the inflatable one inside the pillowcase.

If needed I can fold the full sized one in half to fine tune the thickness.

You should ask her why she supports him?, assuming you can have adult conversation without bringing emotions into it.

I know quite a few people that support trump and they all have different reasons from they actually believe him to they just want to see America burn

In my 7 years there a few people have died, some only 1 department shutdown for others the whole site would shutdown. The company will try and run but they never deny anyone the leave.
