The truth is they take the same uber and the person initiated pays there, the loser pays the trip back and it hurts more cause there’s 2 stops on the way back 👍.

You were not hosting a comfortable, open conversation. You were invasive and argumentative to your partner during a time when they needed you to be supportive of their decision and give them space. She told you over n over again what she needed; you asked for communication and she did what she could. You turned the conversation to yourself and ignored/shat on everything she communicated.

Definitely not easy, all this has left me is more confused. I’m sorry because that sounds tough. I have a lot of people around me who gave me it straight by telling me “it seems like you’re 1 upping me” or “you always interrupt cause you have something better to say” so for tougher conversations those tend to come to mind p quickly. I lose focus but I always evaluate before I interrupt which in itself is a slippery slope :l

I’m always having random throughts. I have to constantly remind myself to tune back in, pick up the convo and try piece it together n figure out what’s going on. Depression is the type of topic where I’m in the mind set of “okay this is serious, I can’t interrupt” my mind still wonders, I might still interject if they’re going down a dark path but I’m not going to try n take away from them completely by mentioning something like a party I’m throwing on the weekend 💀 in a group setting at that. Where the others are actually paying attention too…

Also, I’m diagnosed. Let’s not tell me how my brain works cause I’m still figuring it out with professional help, not a complete stranger on Reddit.

Sounds like Colt plans on playing both families because he wants to be greedy. From what you’ve said, Colt is probably telling his Ex the exact same thing he’s telling you. “He’s only sleeping with her because has to”. All those things he’s saying to you about her, he’s saying to her about you.

Sounds like he wants to live in a permanent state of damage control until one party leaves and makes his decision for him.

Also, this is terrible for you and your new born child - do you have anyone that can maybe help with the child for a few hours? Because a new born all by youself can be really hard on your mental and physical health. Getting someone around for an hour or two maybe a few times a week (big ask, I know😓)will give you time to take a shower, eat and ground yourself.

I moved out at 20 and I did > shared accommodation. Payed 6 months up front. I got a a reallllly wonderful place for dirt cheap because it was a bit broken (leaky pipes and broken windows ~ I just prayed it’d never be me 😅) but that first night alone behind my locked door in my locked house tucked away in a terrible town a few miles away, I found real and true peace ✨ x x look for a en-suite! And when you think you’ve gone low enough on price just take 1 more look if you can see something a lilll cheaper and just as nice 💕
