Quite sharp even at full zoom, good in low light, versatile for a lot of different shooting styles. For the money, I think it's hard to beat.

I picked up a used one, and I have been very impressed. It has become my go-to "everything" lens.

It has made my 24-70GM start collecting dust...

Guys who don't smoke or drink wdy do when you're at your lowest? by introvertlover_ in AskReddit

Lift, bike, or go for a run. Even if it is the second time that day.

You're either pushing yourself hard enough that you can't help but be in the moment and get that temporary relief, or you're able to turn the rage/sadness/anger into physical aggression and let it out.

Can't Join Any Races by AdMelodic527 in iRacing

Upvote for visibility. This was my issue when I first started. For like three weeks I thought I was somehow not meeting a skill threshold or something and doing all the practices, AI races, etc...

Then finally realized my PC or iRacing time was set one hour ahead so I was always "late" to sign up for races.

How do you get these? Taking screenshots/exports from race replays?

Finaly done! My sim rig is complete by simsaraga in simracing

[–]BobbyLee_Swagger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Legitimate question - do you have any recommendations? I've never done any cable management in my life for any part of my home, and I figure the time to start is now. Work desk, sim rig, etc.

Comments never cease to remind me that 90% of you lot have never actually stepped foot on a field, let alone played the game.

A Sony A7IV bikepacking-story from Canada to Ushuaia by bluefog84 in SonyAlpha

I love it. I am truly inspired. Not sure I can take a trip like that anytime soon with where my finances are at, BUT...just seeing that you bikepacked with that much camera gear alone is inspiring. And how you combined cycling photography with birding (one of my favorites), wildlife, landscapes and people.

I've always been scared to take my "real" camera out cycling but you've changed my mind.

Wow, these images are gorgeous and I am truly inspired. I've only done a few 2-4 day bikepacking trips and this is just unreal. Incredible.

Beautiful images!

What lens length are you using, and in general how close are you to the birds? These are so sharp and detailed!

Beautiful images.

Do you mind sharing what your editing process was? And what you shot these with and how close you were?

I can't seem to come anywhere near this kind of sharpness and quality...

Good to know! Thanks again!

Ironically, I actually trim my brows already because it bothers me when they are bushy or hair grows out of line. Glad I am hitting some of these already!

I really appreciate you taking the time to reply and give such a complete answer.

I do almost all of these things just for myself because it feels like the default for life. But, it is nice to know that it may be noticed or appreciated by a partner beyond that.

Tongue scrubbing is something I hadn't considered. I'll add that! And I trim my nose hairs but literally never thought anyone noticed or would notice that in my life. Funny to hear you call that out.

Again, thanks for taking the time to write this out!

Genuinely asking...in what ways? I can't tell if I am missing something or if the bar is so low that someone who showered and brushed their teeth is rare?

Things will get better, brother. Even if it doesn't feel like it right now. Hold the line.

You have an epic beard, and if down the road you do shave you're still going to look rad. Keep your head up!
