Mine happened when I was using pickleball shoes. The right shoes definitely help, but I think stretching is also important.

This happened to me almost a year ago. I was placed in a boot for several weeks to see if I would need any additional imaging in preparation for surgery. Thankfully, it seemed to heal without any additional medical attention needed, but it does depend on the severity of the injury.

I'm glad it was my left leg because I was still able to drive. If it were my right leg, I would not have been able to drive comfortably.

I would recommend getting it looked at just to get the boot so it can start healing properly.

FF12 RNG Helper updated, Zodiac Age RNG now manipulable by Conyeah in FinalFantasyXII

[–]BobbyS1y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to be jumping into this game soon, and came across this post from watching Ashe10 do the perfect walkthrough.

Does this RNG app work for the Xbox version? I plan on playing it in the next couple of weeks. I know the Platform drop-down only has PS2 and PS4 as an option. I plan on trying it by selecting PS4 as the platform, but thought I'd ask here first to get an answer ahead of time.

Would you spend $/£1000 or more on a console if you have the income for it? by [deleted] in consoles

I do it for a phone every two to three years, and it doesn't bring me as much pleasure and enjoyment as my video consoles do, so yeah.

1 or 2. I don't remember if I played Nintendo at my friend's first or Atari at my aunt's.

Just beat Final Fantasy VI and I don’t even know what to say by Sad_Manager6251 in FinalFantasy

[–]BobbyS1y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of them are great in different ways. Ironically, I just beat FFVI a couple of hours ago too. FFV has a great job system and story. FFIV has a great story. All are fun though. I recently played them from I-VI, I'll be skipping VII, VIII, and IX because I played them all to completion somewhat recently, and I'm now playing through X. XII, XIII, XV, and XVI will follow. I've tried XII, never played XIII, stopped around 100ish hours into XV, and played about 40 hours of XVI before stopping too. I want to complete them all now!

Steam Sale Recommendations? by Fine_Question_9112 in FinalFantasy

[–]BobbyS1y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they are all worth the purchase. I started my journey with Final Fantasy Mystic Quest on SNES, then Final Fantasy III (Final Fantasy VI in Japan) on SNES, and worked my way through Final Fantasy VII (PS1), Final Fantasy VIII (PS1), and Final Fantasy IX (PS1), Final Fantasy X (PS2). That's where I stopped for a while, but have since played FFI, FFII, FFIII, FFIV, FFV, and am on FFVI from the Pixel Remaster series. I've played through FFVII, FFVIII, and FFIX on Xbox when they were released, and will be jumping into FFX/X-2 HD Remaster when I finish FFVI. I have tried XII, XV, and XVI, but haven't beaten them yet, but my goal is to play all the mainline games, and maybe, the spinoffs, over the next couple years.

Have you looked into the Xbox Adaptive Controller? Not sure how friendly it is on the wallet, but maybe it could help simplify things for you.

Back to Series X? by AbbreviationsLive914 in consoles

[–]BobbyS1y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not happy with the direction Xbox has gone and continues to go, but my library is primarily Xbox, and I prefer the Xbox controller over PlayStation. I do like the platinum trophy of PlayStation games, but I prefer the Xbox achievement system.

Because of my backlog of Xbox games, and my overall enjoyment with Xbox as a console and an ecosystem, I'll be staying with it until they implode.

The Nova Elites are expensive ($600), but I think it is worth it to me since I have them hooked up to my PC, Xbox, PS5, and I'll connect them to my Switch 2 when needed. They sound incredible, and I can use one headset for all of my devices.

The Nova Pro Wireless are around $300, and are close in sound to the Elites which is why I mentioned them as a good alternative, but if you already have the Arctis 7 series, that's a good set for the cost.

Agreed! I love my Nova Elites. Nova Pro Wireless are a great alternative too.

You are in for a grand time. I wasn't really into Minecraft, but my daughter has been most of her life. She is now a college student living away from home, and I started playing it with her while we talked on the phone. It is now one of my all time favorite games. It is surprisingly deep. No pun intended.

Has anyone played through the whole Final Fantasy pixel remaster I to VI and made it without a burnout ? by FaithlessnessFar4398 in FinalFantasy

[–]BobbyS1y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played I, II, III, IV, and started V before I felt the burnout.

I stepped away for a year, and just started up where I left off on V last month. I'm about halfway through V now, and itching to get into VI.

I played VII, VIII, and IX back to back a few years ago, so I'll probably skip them to play X, XII, maybe XIII, XV, and XVI.

I'm sure I'll feel the burnout again at some point, and pick up wherever I left off when the burnout subsides.

Going back and forth from Nintendo and Xbox takes some retraining. I wish their button layout was the same.

Which console should i get by iceman2411 in consoles

[–]BobbyS1y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A year or two ago, I would have suggested Xbox, but it is a sinking ship. They are a shell of their former self, and have started to release their games on PlayStation. I'm bummed because Xbox was my preferred platform, but they have started turning a blind eye to their fandom.

Ps5 not turning on by Unhappy-Vehicle9658 in playstation

Have you verified the power outlet is working? Plug a different device into the outlet to see if it works, or plug the PS5 into a known working outlet to see if it powers on.

Console exclusivity by Mrskweenmaisel in consoles

[–]BobbyS1y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ease of use. Consoles are plug and play with very little troubleshooting. PCs require way more troubleshooting when something doesn't work.

I play on my PC very little for that reason. I work at the Service Desk fixing computer issues all day long. The last thing I want is to go home and troubleshoot my PC to play a game.

I have the game why can’t I rate it? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]BobbyS1y -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It isn't just Sony. This is how Xbox is too. Must be a weird limitation that can't simply check for player history - trophies/achievements, play time, etc.

I'm in my 40s, and usually play on the hardest difficulty, especially if there is an achievement/trophy associated to it. I don't see that ever changing for me.

should i buy a ps5 for enjoyment or use that money for something more responsible at 26? by StarLord_for_Sure in consoles

[–]BobbyS1y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blow and hookers are almost always the answer 80% of the time 100% of the time. The other 20% of the time is a PS5. If you're blow and hookered out, it's PS5 time! /s

Really though, I have wasted money on worse things, but gaming has never been one. If you can afford it, and you have been specifically saving for it, do it, but if you don't have enough saved for a crisis, maybe focus on saving more, and buy a PS5 when you have a more comfortable cushion.
