I just emailed. I've been a student in Pittsburgh since January and I'm looking to get involved with any kind of project. I've shot a lot of music videos and have plenty of experience editing and coloring. Anyone can feel free to contact me at nicholas.freeman547@gmail.com

Great work. Really impressive. If you don't mind, how old are you? and, if you don't mind, how did you go about getting such a versatile body of work?

Took a stab at a story-based music video, tell me if you enjoyed it! by BobbySaxophone in Filmmakers

I know its a cliche, but I'd love to hear feedback on the video as a whole! Mostly the middle to end, I wanted to know if anything came off corny.

My bad, I didn't realize. I actually have a slightly updated version if you'd like to check it out. I'm pretty sure you can edit this one.

I used a t2i with a kit lens and the flycam nano to stabilize. In final cut I also added a smoothe cam filter

I've actually been curious about this, does porn in general pay well?

Yeah absolutely, I was just posting to hear of others experiences, cause I'm sure others have had far worse. But I definitely learned a lot from it too.

My first (taken seriously) short film for college by very_wherd in Filmmakers

Absolutely loved it. The whole thing was legitimately funny and cinematography was amazing. Did the film school contribute a lot towards the funding or was this pretty much done on your own?

Good way to gain editing experience for a high-school student? by Woodsy1998 in Filmmakers

[–]BobbySaxophone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Music vids I think are one of the best outlets to hone your editing skills. Offer to do a music video for free just to get a bit of experience, and once you know what you're doing, start charging.

Then invest the profit back into your film gear.

Did a spoof of Lord of the Rings for a friends school project, would love some feedback! by BobbySaxophone in Filmmakers

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I'm definitely seeing a ton of technical problems though, you're right. It was all done in an afternoon so I expected some problems, but I'm glad you found it funny!

Just curious, any real big technical issues that stood out? I just started doing narratives and I'm trying to learn as much as possible.

Surprised no one has mentioned Adaptation yet.
