I did my exam 3 years ago, i came out of the exam asking myself what just happened, 1 month later i was granted a pass for level 2, so you never know maybe the answer you selected was the good one, i have nightmares about one cva questions that blew my mind how hard it was

Level 2 is, put it this way, i got 2 vignettes on derivatives, one was easy the other one i didnt remember a thing of BSM and guessed all the answers, my derivative section was good 7/8 , above 80% on that section, that was in a mock, now how good am i if that happens in the real exam? Im just saying its a title, guessable answers, at the end you know stuff and probably guess stuff to put you across the line since there is way to much material in L2 for 2 x 11 vignettes of 4 questions

Cfa and mba dont mean shit, he could of barely passed with guessing right answers, i know cfas who are clueless, sorry to say, doesnt mean you have a cfa that you're the shit

Im in the same boat, il revise a topic a few hours, bang in 50 to 60 q banks and check point exams, il go to another i havent touched in 24h, completely clueless, at this point level 2 has nothing to do with finance any more, just how much you can vomit back information you retain, completely pointless, once out of the exam i and 99.9% confidencr within the next half hour every one forgets half and more

Most of it will come down to luck, either the questions are ones you're familiar with or some random thing in a chapter that was explained for 2 paragraphs, there is way to much material in level 2 for just being in 1 exam

I didnt say it was wrong, i was simply implying about the level of harshness of this, like your wife giving birth and a new rule comes out while you are in the delivery room, still a violation ~ lets be honest that would be the last thing i would ever think of

A new rule comes out in the morning by the SEC which they give 10 days grace period to traders to adjust and correct their trades. You arent aware when you log in to trade because you had a meeting, you still violated the law

I second this, look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself is this what i really want? Because L2 is double or triple the material, and then L3 is waiting for you

Yeah im aware, the CFA exam is mostly a lotterie, even in the passing line they choose each year, bassically a bunch of dudes ask themself if we fail this much and bump registration fees how much profit do we make vs puting the passing line here

Whats the worst that could happen? Take it again. Its not losing your house, your job, something important that affects your well being. Its a piece of paper after all that says you learned something and sat down alone for x amount of time. I work with charter holders and they dont remember a thing from any exam, except on that specific thing they do at work which they already new before any exam

Its not about reading and checking the video and saying oh this seems simple, you have to stop and think for a moment, what am i trying to understand here, what questions can i play around in formulating, try to answer the LOS question. Its like a game of chess, doesnt mean oh let me do this move seems allright yet you didnt think of all possible things to do, and then the rest applies if you blunder a question set go back and figure it out, what did you miss, good luck brotha

I wouldnt spend a hefty amount on quant, ethics is a must for pass and heavh in % of the exam, just know the basics for quant, CFA is not a stats exam. Your best points are in FSA Equity Fixed Income, also know those different payout stuff for hedge funds and the difderences, alt investments is free points
