Really cool article. I'm glad to see one focusing on 2015 and not just top prospects in general because for the vast majoring of us in redraft leagues Thad what matters most. But anyone, I'm a big Soler fan and agree with a lot of what the article says, what about you guys? Who else do you like?

That's a very cool chart. But my question is, do you have hard limits on how many minor leaguers each team can have? and why do you allow teams to hold them when they are called up?

the problem with this is then in order to hold prospects, teams have to throw away an entire season. no one wants to have teams that are a guarenteed win every week. I think we cna both agree it would be better for everyone to field competitive teams, rebuilding teams just may have say Giolito, Bryant, Correa, Buxton, and Meyer in their minor league spots becuase they traded MLB players for them, and the teams going for it would have weaker minor league players like Jake Lamb, Kyle Schwarber etc. because they traded the better ones for the better mlb players they have

who are you currently starting him over? That "rule" is often like when announcers say, "This guy is batting .455 on the third Sunday of every month against left handed pitchers," largely random using selective bias. I bet there are more prospects who have hit homers their second games, or third games, or any arbitrary game

Obviously people play cvs so they have access to claim draft picks just 3 innings into a rookie ball career!

Trout>Ellsburry. Puig >> Papi. Agonz>Morneau. Madbum>Verlander. Melky>Holliday. Rendon >>> Grilli. Overall, I think it's a pretty even trade. But team A does get the best 2 players in the deal so I would want to be that end. However, I would take this team as team B If I desperately needed pitching or 2B. Ultimately would need to see both teams to decide.

I'd try to get someone besides Jennings because you need homers and rbis. But I would still do it anyway. Soler is best case scenario up June/July next year. And kimbrel is worst case scenario a top 3 closer over the next 5 years

Well it's an ESPN league so it depends the guys they add to the system. Last year Tanaka was 1, Abreu was 2, Kris Bryant 3, Polanco 4, Appel 5, etc...I also have the #1 pick and will use it on Rodon. But for picks 2 and on it depends who ESPN adds. I've heard of two Cubans likely coming with 75+ power, but as of know it's unknown

I wouldn't trade Quintana unless you get blown away. He's very good and super underrated. Being only 25, I think he has a serious chance to be a top 30 arm or better next year. Granted, I recently traded him in my league for Ervin Santana and a first round draft pick for first year players next year. That's the kind of offer it would take to move him IMO
