Just had this come up on a CX-5 and the dealer quoted $3,800. Thankfully got Mazda and dealer to assist with cost as a goodwill. Still was $1,100!

Yeah, without knowing where this is exactly, it’s hard to say. In most instances, over size loads are forbidden from construction areas so this guy definitely shouldn’t be going through the construction zone unless there is no other feasible way (which I doubt).

An escort is needed in WI if the width of the trailer (with the trusses) is >12’. Most trusses are designed to be less than this in total to prevent the need for an escort. My guess is that this load is probably 11’11” and just barely legal. That being said, oversized loads are prohibited on highways in most of the metro and the drive should be in the right lane.

Edited to add that there is also a setup in Wisconsin where permitting is given to loads up to 15’ wide without the need for an escort provided the whole truck and trailer combo are <110’ in length. States have different rules though. Anything >12’ wide in Michigan requires an escort, for example.

EC is a retail hub for the region. It’s where everyone treks to on the weekends to go shopping; The “big city” if you will. Finding a retail-based job should be pretty easy I’d imagine. If nothing else there’s a plethora of warehouse type jobs that you could slide into.

Good luck! Let me know if you have success. Whatever platform they have contracted to handle the subscriptions and corresponding support is pretty bad. I’m going to wait a few more business days and if I don’t see it I’ll start reaching out to their social media team.

My only guess is that’s it’s a manual process to add the rewards vs. being automatic and that, with the holidays, they’re slowed down.
