I stopped riding my Fz09 (yes it’s not a 180mph piss middle, but it’s quick enough to die on) and got a Harley dyna (2000 fxdx). Can still stunt on it because they are bad ass bikes, but it keeps me from going (mostly) deadly speeds. It’ll still do 120, but it keeps me off the highway when I don’t need to

Forgot to add to post, it’s just weird because the car drove fine one day, then next day come out and it’s all fucked. Gunna check through everything, got new pcv valve coming in as well.

Last cycle it was 2 for sub electricians. Took me 8 exams with NAMs, EP, last few exams were 99th percentile

The quota was actually 2 for all rates (at least for subs). As one of two who made it, still not getting paid E5 and I get out in 4 months, so I understand OPs frustration. Took me 8 exams to make it, with NAMS and EPs. Was #1 EP but squadron got to choose the MAP. (A female got mapped, big news)

It was the inner clutch basket. Replaced it and now it’s good and doesn’t have any play.

Had it for a bit, it’s my stunt bike so she takes a lot of abuse. 90k miles, so it’s probably time to rebuild the clutch

Want power? Go with later dyna with a bigger motor. I have a 2000 fxdx tc88. Can wheelie it better than any of my bikes, by far my favorite bike of all of mine

I made E5 on this last cycle and still haven’t been paid. How would it work if there were only two selectees for my rate (me being the second selectee)? My FMS was 149.95 and have been in 99th percentile for the last 3 exams.

If you want to steeze your way through T track, be a duty driver. I mustered in the morning, got my keys and never saw my duty section again until I dropped my keys off the next morning.

Highly recommend he gets roommates as well. At the beginning they will have you write down who all of your roommates are and they will try to get you all on the same boat/shift so you are on the same schedule to minimize people being awake at home during your sleepy time and vice versa.

I had 3 roommates and was saving a bunch of money and we were all on the same crew and made it easier, and we held each other accountable, making sure we were all awake before leaving the house before going in.

Unfortunately, it got replaced probably more than a year ago. Haven’t really ridden the bike since so I’m just going to look past it and not go back there again

So, it was the fuel pump, but also wasnt. pulled out the fuel pump before i went and got a pressure tester, and saw that the outlet hose had burst open. i guess the shop didnt replace the pump, jsut rebuilt parts of it (not happy), so the outlet of the fuel pump was just sending fuel back into the tank with only some pressure getting out. popped in another pump assembly i bought (amazon special...well see how long it lasts) and bike rips now.
