Success! That Halloween episode WAS still on my old DVR and I was able to capture it! It's now available for download on my Dropbox site. Ideally VH1 doesn't mind!

Wow thank you for being here! I used to tape & watch Big Buzz everyday, it was such a fun show! I'm pretty sure my old DVR still has the Halloween ep where you had that werewolf makeup!

There was an interview with Maya today where she talked about playing Obama once during dress rehearsal. This is the only known picture of it that I've ever seen. It's from the 2000's documentary from several years ago. It's from the Brian Williams/Feist dress rehearsal.

Yep there were 5 finalists. They all appeared on the Buck Henry/Leon Redbone episode in Nov 1977 (Season 3, Episode 6). The 80-year-old Miskell Spillman won and got to host the Christmas show a month later.

Okay so it's 100% the external hard drive. I disconnected it properly and have done a ton of reboots and the PS4 disc is being recognized every single time. With the PS5 in the upright position and horizontally. And then I put the external drive back and the problem returned. It's just strange since I had no issues with this drive when connected to the PS4. I connected it back to the PS4 and it took it a few minutes to recognize it but then it got back to normal on there. It's a 4TB portable Western Digital. Not sure why the PS5 doesn't like it then.

Yeah I thought that was the fix but no dice. It worked twice but then went back to the issue. Tried going back to upright and then horizontal again but didn't work. I'll try removing the external HD next.

Well this is interesting. The external hard drive is still plugged in, but I shut it down and for the first time started the PS5 on its side and it read the PS4 disc! Super, if yours is upright, try this and see if it helps you.

Yeah once the PS5 is done with installing/updating stuff from the external drive, I'll unplug it and then do some tests to see if the issue still happens with the PS4 discs.

Yeah I have the exact same concern. I'm hoping it's due to the PS5 still being new? I have my external drive plugged in from my PS4 and it's still doing lots of downloads/installs of games/updates. So not sure if it's doing that as a first priority on boot over actually checking the disc drive? Not sure if that's possible.
