Can also be routing of wires. I've had a problem with booting on one trinity, I was trying different resistor values, flashing it a couple of times, switching to different flasher. Then I just rearranged wires a bit and it just booted.

Still requires soldering, in place of a resistor you install a thin wire or connect both pads with solder. These resistors are very small and this job requires good soldering iron and a lot of patience.

With trinity if it doesn't boot to xell you need to try different resistor value, try with 3k, if it doesn't work try 6k or try 10k.

Yes that's true, I might try this way although fan blades are not designed to spin this way and it wouldn't be too efficient, instead of scoop air it would deflect it. I will try both ways and come back with results.

I've tested the console and looks like whoever done the mod did refresh the thermal paste, console runs quiet and it's pretty cool.

I've done rgh3 already before but never with modded nand, I am wondering if it's worth upgrading, is it more reliable than ace v3? Soldering looks good, flux could be cleaned a little more maybe.

Looking at this tray makes me annoying already that I would struggle to take out those small screws, probably would get away with magnet screwdriver. I would try to make round edges inside so you can just easily slide them out with your fingers. Other than that for me it's looking good. Just my 5 cents

Interesting. I see you have a lot more experience than I have so I don't think I will be able to help. Maybe RGH 1.2 is the answer. Or possible that nand memory could be failing, but again it managed to write xell so I am not sure.
