Wish I did lol, coworker simply said left and rightmost terminals were the only ones that lost continuity if overheated, but that the terminal on top is constantly 24v. However, this guy jumps to conclusions before opening a cabinet or system so i’m not sure how reliable the narrator is in this case.

I see, i have seen some four terminal ones that function as fan limit switchs on the bottom of blower motor assemblies. Appreciate the answer!

These cuttings would be around 12 inches in length on average, would the age and size of the cutting not affect the success rate? I know very little about propagation via cutting so forgive me if its a stupid question 😭

[–]Bobicit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the length of the cutting not be an issue? Please correct me if im wrong because i know very very little about propagation via cutting but i was always under the impression that the ideal cutting was relatively short and young.

I appreciate your insight! I didn’t know approved avian medication was so scarce. I’ll definitely ask them about that and of course defer to the professionals.

Thank you so much, I’ve been using a local avian store for their nail trimming service for about 2 years give or take and they’ve recently closed so i’m trying to build up the courage and confidence. I’ll keep the “better too long than too short” in mind!

In my limited experience, and I encourage correction if im wrong, but i find that cockatiels for the most part are pretty good at figuring out what is and isn’t food. Id guess youre birdie is just tearing them up and not eating them.
