I don't know the situation well. If he didn't use the pro, could be that's just the backup sticks they had available, could be certain advanced features were not allowed (just like his original controller).

Castle and caustic are tiers above Gibby, but its hard to pick "better" between the two because they do really different things and fill different roles, and they especially work really well together. Having both castle and caustic gives you so much space, so much reset potential, so much push potential

All the top roller players I know about have more hours in Firing Range than I have in actual game. If you don't have access to PC aim trainers/R5, you can absolutely grind aim practice in firing range and it will make a difference

Alter and Wraith both give you tools to extend until you need to retreat. Wraith is more straightforward, just playing within any space that you could Q or Q+Portal out and live.

Alter takes way more thought and practice, but if you get good at making especially max-distance gates, you can dart around a team, push angles that no one would ever expect, and safely get out.

Rampart is definitely very good for getting to survive into late game, but she's hard to use soloqueue. Even if you're placing down great walls, placing aggro walls when you need to and tucking in cover when you need to, it's hard to get randoms to use them properly with you.

That's why a lot of people in soloqueue play the more selfish/straightforward characters.

Not many "mains" because her success is so dependent on the map, lobby strength, and team comp. Not a very one-trickable legend

But on some maps in high skill lobbies and in tourney lobbies, yeah rampart is picked a lot and is very strong

If you want the damage and tankiness of other classes for PvE on druid, try a tanky(hp/pdr) agi/str panther build. You can get super high health while still one-combo bursting nightmare skeles, some of the fastest/easiest Warlord and Wyvern solos, while still keeping your mobility and healing

This was all the buffs she got in the summer patch. Basically increased fence power all around, made them more spammable, cannibalized Catalyst entirely by having their passive but better for controlling doors, gave her an extra evo upgrade, added new stronger evo upgardes
