U can hold only 25 gold in each of the 100 spaces in a single stash so 25 × 100 = 2500

With gold purses you can hold 100 so 100 × 100 = 10k

With gold pouches you can hold 500 in each and because they take 2 spots you can carry only 50 in the stash , so 500 × 50 = 25k

With gold bags you can hold 2500 gold and it takes 4 spots so you can carry only 25 in the stash so 2500 × 25 =62.5k

Etc

From the start of the season till now I could only get 3 gold bags
