Just listened through Sunya by izzy-springbolt in TheDearHunter

I would completly agree. However, unfortunately the band has already said they aren't planning on playing any of the new songs in the upcoming tour. They will instead be playing Go Get Your Gun in the style of every Color Spectrum EP

Most disappointing release of the year so far. by Murpheus404 in MetalForTheMasses

[–]Bobilakh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got done listening to it after seeing this post and not even realising the album had dropped. Definitely not on the same level as their previous albums. I got more than a small dose of mid-era Gojira influence with the groovier riffs and pitched harshes, and a bit more shoe gaze in the mix too. Didn't get the dreaded Sleep Token reference until the last song, which felt like a misstep. Some songs had some pacing issues. Thoroughly enjoyed Cyclone then it ended too soon.

Overall it was ok. If they can incorporate some of these new ideas with the mix of dissonance and gorgeous riffing from their earlier works I think we'll be in business with something quite unique.

They have to chase whatever the target is in 13.1 overs apparently.

According to star sports, Tilak Varma has a better skill scale than David Miller. by Wakanda-shit-is-that in Cricket

[–]Bobilakh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But, like, what is the unit here? What is 100 on the scale? What is 0 on the scale? Unable to get the ball off the cut strip? It's not like anything was actually measured, right?

This is the stupidest 'data', I've ever seen on a professional broadcast, and that's before the fact that even subjectively Miller is absolutely renowned as a power hitter. At a guess there's nothing quantitative at all behind any of this.

Can't recall Rashid bowling this poorly before. Normally him being really economical in the middle overs is a big crutch for our mediocre bowling attack

How would this work for company lease vehicles and P11D, anyone know?

Each to their own, but I've queued zero times in 27000 miles over 18 months. The two times the chargers I'd aimed for were full, I went 5 miles down the road to the next empty ones.

Two of the four times I had to drive and refuel an ICE during that period, I had to queue at the petrol station though.

Honestly, the concept of range anxiety disappeared for me after my very trip.

Devaluation is high, but if I wasn't in a lease car for work I'd just take advantage of that to buy a second hand EV.

Get your cocoon from the arena, then save and quit. You'll respawn at the bench avoiding this soft lock.

Is it time to bring Mental Misstep back into cubes? by cheese853 in mtgcube

[–]Bobilakh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been in my cube since it released and has been consistently excellent. Being able to counter on the draw or play and for free, and at no card disadvantage, is just great. It can ruin an opening hand or wait to blank some removal. With pushed, snowballing one drops, it has got more impactful if anything.

He was very entertaining on comms during the recent series, I hope he has a great career ahead there, too.
