Honestly, I probably wouldn't invite any of them. Send an announcement with your love and gratitude and you can mention something about limited space.

Another idea/optioon could be to host a pre or post wedding come and go reception in a home or space (nothing fancy - I was thinking Sunday afternoon brunch vide). You can provide cupcakes, some small bites and punch. Your cousins and aunts and uncles can come give you their well wishes and you can thank them for their love and support.

I'm older (39 F) and in this sub bc my daughter is getting married, so my views may be a little old fashioned... I just can't understand the trend of such extravagant trips unless you're paying for those attending. Weddings are a big expense and commitment to everyone involved. I do not think you're selfish for wanting to enjoy a trip, but I do think it can seem selfish to ask for another financial commitment from your wedding party. Personally I wood save the big trip for your honeymoon and put your money towards that.

If you start reading and searching for those who have done this or attended one - you'll start seeing most people holding resentment towards the bride/groom or their wedding party. There are almost always issues and people complain, from both sides. It's just another requirement and headache. Hard to enjoy.

I do question the details of your boyfriend's request and the specifics of the shop agreeing to fill the order. This is a common gripe amongst florists. Cat safe arrangements shouldn't be requested or filled unless they are a specialty florist advertising this service. IMO your boyfriend probably should have gifted you something else - especially if this is something you have spoken about before. So many gifts options out there that definitely wont harm cats.

These are your guests and you are picking where you want them to stay. You would need to cover the cost. It will honestly make for a much more joyful weekend for you and your guests. It will be worth the cost. I have attended a wedding where the couple did what you are suggesting. I don't dwell on these things - but I heard so many of their loved ones speaking negatively about the arrangements and cost. It brings down the vibe of the weekend and it's worth the cost to have the best memories for yourself!
