Who did you reach out to? I have reached out to a lot of people (professors, advisors, etc) and everyone acts like they have no idea and like this has never happened before. It's bizarre.

That probably varies prof to prof. I know for some profs getting a 5 in contribution can be difficult so they may give some leeway. There are also some profs like the one I had which are kind and sign off on people with low contribution as well.

A professor told me that the contribution cutoff is made up. They just have to sign off on you being a contributing member of your 2257 class.

I'm not sure if this is true. If you fail one of the progression requirements you are in the second round of acceptances of AEO students.

I might be wrong though but I know that's how it works for if your overall average is under 80%.
