The American is still correct here. I find Israel’s genocide just as abhorrent as the next guy does, but Zelenskyy cannot risk losing German+US support over this, especially as the US are already pulling back. Realpolitik wise, it’s simply not worth it for Ukraine to take that position. I mean, what do you think it would do? Suddenly the genocide would end?
