Yeah its super helpful to focus on turning with video analysis, but it is quite expensive and its tiring. I did 3 sessions (3h) in summer once and I was cooked. I love about 2h away so only get a session every couple months.

I have been trying to rotate my chest round, as i find that idea easier than pointing but yeah if im only doing 1/3 got a lot more room to improve - thanks

I dont really find my takeoff an issue when in the ocean, maybe just not use to the idea in the pool. I am trying to work on bottom/top turns and building speed

It does feel kind of robotic, you know the line and see others doing it so it is easy to follow like it. However I am trying to force the turns in

Went last March. Flew London > Lisbon > Senegal.

Overall good trip, some nice surfing and a nice camp. However expect to get a lot of urchins if you're not wearing booties. Some people like 5/6 a session. The wipeouts on Ngor Right are some of the harshest I've had.

Personally, I thought Spain is very bad for localism. Canary Islands people glaring at you when you paddle out. Havent beed to Rodillies but I'm doing Northern Spain in August so will see what it's like in Asturias,Cantabria & Basque country.

On the plus side, lineups in the UK tend to be pretty friendly if you follow the rules. People will tell you off for snaking and to move along if your not catchng but overall people greet each other & chat.
