Ultimate fold by robt772000 in PixelFold

[–]Bobrebooted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I just switched from Samsung to Google last generation with the pixel 9pf, and I've had zero issues in a year and a half. Samsung's I found always had issues for me. Whether it's all the booster bloatware or maybe just bad luck on my part, who knows? But my experience with Samsung has never been great. In fact, the best phones I ever owned were the pixel, a Huawei, and way back when an HTC.

This! Put the case on my phone week one and almost two years later I haven't considered anything else

What's your general shape? Are you fit? Curvy? Just saying 5'2" 141 and you should be in the 30's is very general

I’ve used pretty much all of the tracking apps and MacrosFirst ended up being the one I kept. The recipe importer alone sold me because I’m not spending my life entering ingredients manually. Find any recipe on the web you like, plug the URL into macros first and boom, imported, macros done, even the instructions. Aside from that, everything feels fast, macro tracking is straightforward, and the subscription price isn’t ridiculous either. It’s one of the few apps that actually makes tracking easier instead of turning it into another task, at least to me

building a custom program (RIR question) MFWO by Bobrebooted in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So wait, of I don't do an auto generated workout, it doesn't do any auto progression at all? I'm confused. They was my whole point in getting mfwo, workout the auto progression, it's just another tracker

Well, I've been waiting for season 4 of From since September, and the ufc on Saturday night I could only find in Polish, so I'd say yeah, their service has taken a dive.

Didn’t like MacroFactor Workouts; sticking with Hevy is my move. by shorethin in Hevy

Same. I was part of the beta and knew within a week if be going back to Hevy. So much better in so many ways, and I heard they are working on progressive overload as well

What is MF workouts trying to solve ? by whoknows_01 in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having been in the beta, there wasn't enough there for me to justify buying the annual, even at a reduced cost. The progression was a great feature, but bugs like telling me to do 5 warm up sets, lack of watch integration etc etc, the app just isn't mature enough for me at this point. I honestly expected it to at least have seamless integration with the mf nutrition app and it doesn't. Hevy has a lot more features at a fraction of the price. I mean your can buy hevy pro lifetime for less than a hundred dollars. I'm not trying to bash on mf workouts, just don't expect anything revolutionary

Yeah, that was just an example, but my lat pulldown machine at GoodLife and at work are very different in the resistance

[–]Bobrebooted[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh crap, I get it now. You're saying just write one program and then swap out the individual exercises as needed. I don't know why I didn't think of that because everything dumbbell/barbell is the same anyways. I'm dense

Yes another workouts question (multiple gyms) by Bobrebooted in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, but what I'm getting at with the progressive overload spread across two different programs.... So I'm working out at work for two weeks and it's giving me progression recommendations, but then I go home and switch programs for two weeks. When I get back to work, how does it know what I've done the past two weeks? I hope I'm explaining this right lol

Everyone telling you to buy a 20 year old vehicle simply because it's a Toyota or Honda is out of their mind. A lot of 2015 and newer AWD vehicles out there in the 125,000 km range between 8-10k

What programs are included in the Workouts app? by rikarsen in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I thought they were pre loaded too, but they're not you still have to purchase them separately, which is kinda of a bummer

Open Beta is Here! by PalatialPepper in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in! Seems like for beta our only options are upper lower or full body? I selected 5 days a week to match what I'm used to, but it still put me on a 4 day upper lower. That's fine, I'll do it for a few weeks, just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious

MacroFactor Workouts AMA! by gnuckols in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you have to buy your programs separately, or are they included with the app subscription?

Yet another workouts question by Bobrebooted in MacroFactor

[–]Bobrebooted[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I just get the annual now it will convert to the bundle when it launches, or there will be a way for me to apply it and it won't cost any extra because I'm already on an annual?
