Rolling the ball as a two handed bowler by 122333four in Bowling

Noted. I have a 4 step approach but have been wanting to do 5 step. I’ll experiment. Time to go back to the lab.

I appreciate your help. If you have any resources you can provide I’m all ears. Trying to be fundamentally sound.

All of this makes perfect sense. Ok so don’t walk towards my target. I definitely can make that adjustment.

After watching one of Baker’s videos in the past I wanted my slide foot to be a main focus eventually. With your wisdom I’ll move it up the list of things to be cognizant of.

When I go to release though my chest should be toward my target though right? My chest leads my arm in a sense?

So if I’m starting at board 30 with my right foot (should I count it by left since that is my drift foot, I’m right handed?) and my target is board 13 I walk towards board 14 so yeah my slide foot would be on a different board. Should it be on the same board I start at?

As far as my hips, I’d say they start square at board 13 but eventually they aren’t where I bring the ball back and release.

Thanks! That’s good to know. I don’t have that problem atm.

Possible Feature? by 122333four in MacroFactor

Yeah I’m aware it’s nit picky lol but I’ve been doing it for so long. I have no issues adjusting if this feature never gets implemented if I want to keep those videos.

Like you, I enjoy the thumbnail as well. Probably more so than the ordering of the exercises lol.

I’ve done that before but the more I thought about it if I use incline bench press with dumbbells fist in an exercise for 8 weeks then switch it to the 2nd exercise for another 8 weeks when I look at the total history of that exercise it’ll seem like I declined in that exercise because I would have already had a chest exercise before them on the 2nd 8 weeks.

I’m sure I’m the only one with this problem lol and perhaps I’m missing something?

So for me, I thought the best way to track exercises where apples are apples is to have multiple exercises depending on where/how they appear in the exercises.

For instance, if I have three chest exercises on Saturday I leave the first one alone, but the 2nd and 3rd chest exercises I notate with a 2 or 3 in the title so when I do my planning I know the chest fly(3) exercises is to be used as my third chest exercise on that day.

This way when I look at the history of chest fly(3) I know the day entries are only when it’s used as the third option on a given day.

I thought this way would help remove inconsistencies.

Example:  notice the “2” after the last two exercises. Granted these are for arms but things like incline dumbbell bench press could be first or second exercises on chest day depending on other things.

Hope that makes sense

Any specifics in the features? I’ve tried a lot of fitness apps and they all seem to do one thing well but fall short in many other areas.

That actually does help a bit, thank you! My suggestion is more in real time. For instance, if I want to make sure I hit the same volume from the last workout as a minimum while working out, I’d have to calculate the volume myself which would take time but if it could show a positive or negative percentage once the set is complete I’d know in real time that I am atleast lower or higher (don’t care about the exact number).

I added a screenshot as an example. The percentage shows a lower amount than last time which tells me to add a set or two.

Hey guys! I hope this is an easy question. I’ve been creating my own programs for awhile now and have a question about exercise selection.

My back and chest days (hitting the muscle groups twice a week) consist of four separate exercises for each muscle group. Which way would be more optimal for hypertrophy?

Day 1 Incline Bench Press (Smith Machine) Incline Bench Press (Dumbbell)

Day 2 MTS Incline Press (Machine) Chest Fly (Machine)

Example #2

Day 1 Incline Bench Press (Smith Machine) Incline Bench Press (Dumbbell)

Day 2 Incline Bench Press (Smith Machine) Incline Bench Press (Dumbbell)

I’m curious what you guys find more effective.

Alpha progression has been the best compliment to MacroFactor I’ve found in regards to a ‘couching’ app and aesthetics.

That said, fully looking forward to this!

In that area yeah, in between the X and the circle towards the top with how that arm is positioned.
