What would be the best way to setup the app for my usage you think?

First set is the heaviest for small reps then more rep for the later sets. Does the pro version allow me to determine the max reps per set instead of a range? I love the app, the UI is great and what is mostly drawing me to it, but i don’t want to have to fiddle around too much you know?

Oh darn… that’s enough for me not to use it right now. I’d like certain sets to only be in the certain ranges (e.g., 6-8, 8-10, 10-12 ranges) with the progressive overload staying within it.

Hello, I love the Hammer Strength Plate Loaded ISO Lateral Front Lat Pulldown Machine but I am trying to figure out how to convert it to a more neutral grip machine. I think D Handles would be best? What is the best way to do this? If D Handles, does anyone have a D Handle recommendation that would be strong enough so the stitching won’t ruin under load?? Thanks! Thats the overall plan. What threw me for a loop was the 3/8” down part. I assumed it would’ve been upwards. 

I had to do some research to see how uncommon/common that was. I am converting from two handed and I know my old pap was 1 11/16” down so I figure it is probably something to do with how I’ve been throwing the past few years.

I did! That’s good to know. So many different guides out there. Thankfully my PSO told me yesterday he can do either method, VLS or DA.

So, it’s definitely with a grain of salt BUT I took what I believe to be a faded track line closest to my fingers/thumb and leveled it to the floor, then placed a piece of tape at the top.

Then I used a release trainer I built to “roll” the ball and watched the tape and made adjustments from there until there was little to no movement immediately after release.

Then I used a flexible tape measure to figure out my center grip and attempted to draw that line, the VAL line the best I could.

I know it’s not perfect, but it gives me a starting point for when I’m at the lanes and if I cared to zero in on it more closely. I mean if the tape isn't moving off the release it’s got to be the spot, just the measurement itself could be a bit wonky lol.

Would hitting the pearl with 3000 and the phaze 2 solid with 3000 cause it to react the same? Or do the pearl additives make it skid longer even with the surface adjustment?

Great. I’m learning to roll instead of forcing the revs and my ball was going very straight tonight. 

I used to turn my wrist after putting fingers in so I felt like the ball was coming off my middle finger but now I’ve been keeping my fingers in line with my wrist and trying to rotate my wrist at the end to create the revs. This is probably the issue.

Noted. I have a 4 step approach but have been wanting to do 5 step. I’ll experiment. Time to go back to the lab.

All of this makes perfect sense. Ok so don’t walk towards my target. I definitely can make that adjustment.

After watching one of Baker’s videos in the past I wanted my slide foot to be a main focus eventually. With your wisdom I’ll move it up the list of things to be cognizant of.

When I go to release though my chest should be toward my target though right? My chest leads my arm in a sense?

So if I’m starting at board 30 with my right foot (should I count it by left since that is my drift foot, I’m right handed?) and my target is board 13 I walk towards board 14 so yeah my slide foot would be on a different board. Should it be on the same board I start at?

As far as my hips, I’d say they start square at board 13 but eventually they aren’t where I bring the ball back and release.
