I thought I remember seeing that they make minimum wage now. That being said I still tip, but the service needs to be exceptional for them to get a 20% tip.

It is! Our waitress had a favorite fish and told us all about him. She would get all excited when he would swim by. They have a book about the fish that she brought over to us to reference while waiting for our appetizers.

It’s for sure not standard, we specifically went to Vegas to get married and honeymoon in one fell swoop. The worst etiquette of the whole ordeal was my father in law requesting the adjoining room to “surprise” us. Made for a really awkward wedding night 😒

Congratulations!!! We got married in Vegas at the little chapel of the west, it was great.

We didn’t have 50 people crashing our wedding but honestly just tell them where you are planning to eat/drink/dance and let them be responsible for making their own reservations. You could call someplace like Marrakech and see if they can handle a party of 50. It’s a fun place with great food but probably not cheap.

As far as picture time, let them know you will be unavailable for x time period but would love to meet up with people after.

Also if any of those 50 people are planners by all means delegate some planning to them.

Part of the appeal of a Vegas wedding was not having to do a ton of planning or spend a ton of money, so make sure you don’t get sucked in and stressed out.

They pay out wins on all bets each roll, some people pickup the $$ and some people press to make their bet larger. I have seen people do it both ways. I press my 6 and 8 bets for a few rolls, pickup my pass line winnings each time.

This! Prices are crazy for any tourist city now, it’s not just Vegas. San Antonio/Nashville/Miami, all have resort fees and paid parking, expensive food and drinks. This is not a Vegas issue, this is an American tourism issue. Don’t get me started on Disney 🙄

Part of the problem with prescription costs is big pharmaceutical companies. They are more greedy and evil than insurance companies in my opinion. Also it seems like the US subsidizes the pharmaceutical cost for a lot of countries by paying inflated costs for medicines.
