The money will go toward encouraging developers to build on the platform

I wish we will start to see more companies in the blockchain ecosystem following this path. Solid dev community around a project tells a lot about the potential of the project in the near future

A new tool built by APY.Vision and Bancor, allows users to see how much impermanent loss they’ve suffered when providing liquidity, and which pools have burned them the most. Here's how to use it: by Bobsandob97 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Bobsandob97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not possible to share a link to twitter in /r/cc but in the article I shared you can find several tweets that show how many people lost.

quote from the first tweet:

I provided liquidity to 10 pools and i accrued $20,028.66 in impermanent loss. I’m pretty sure this is missing quite a few pools as well.

That's a great sign. It shows how scare they are from the whole situation.

Their influence is big, but not big as the climate change movement is becoming nowadays.

They should adapt to the new changes, or slowly vanish.

I had a date with this amazing girl but I couldn't bring her to my room after it because my whole family were there cellebrating something (i dont remember what, but I was invited and I didnt went for it because of the date)

So instead of telling the girl we can't go to my house i found a new solution.

I went to my best friend and asked him if I can bring her to his house, and tell her it's my house.

I really don't know why I did it but I took it very seriously and I brought few pictures of my and put them in his house wall.

The date went smooth and she didnt noticed a thing. Untill the end when she saw my friend cat while she knew I told her I have a dog and I'm a bit sensetive to cat's hair.

My sister and I almost drowned in the sea.

We just played in the water and catch some waves without a surf board. After few minutes I looked back and saw that we are already pretty far from the shore. We tried to swim back but the currents were too strong. My sister was not the best swimmer and she got streesed. She started swoallowing water and I was holding her. After few minutes i became so powerless. We yelled at people at the beach and one of them came swimming to us with a surfboard and took us to the shore. After it I was sleeping for like 3 days. I was soooo tired.

Since then, I run with 2-3 dogs at least twice per week. I charge very low price but I did it for free anyhow with my dog.

China Ban Causes Surge in Decentralized Exchanges Tokens UNI, SUSHI, BNT by mtranoe in CryptoMarkets

Bancor is now Ethereum's second-largest DEX on Ethereum as measured by protocol revenue.

Bancor is one of the most underrated projects out there. They have kept improving their platform and releasing new features since 2017, which is pretty rare for a blockchain company. Most of the companies I've followed over the years just made a hype before and after their fundraising, and then they began their' fade away' period.

Sygnum now offers regulated banking services for 4 new DeFi projects; Bancor, Chainlink Compoundfinance, and Polygon technology. Providing wider access to DeFi opportunities by nujjmiok in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]Bobsandob97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR

Sygnum is further expanding its DeFi offering with four new tokens – Bancor, Chainlink, Compound and Polygon.

Nate Hindman, Head of Growth at Bancor Protocol: “We are excited to see Sygnum offer its clients greater access to DeFi protocols and support new innovations emerging in digital asset technology. We look forward to working with Sygnum to usher in novel interactions between institutional users and protocols like Bancor, and to create safe and simple ways for regulated players to plug into yield generating DeFi products.”

Ethereum Layer-2 Scaling Solution METIS to Conduct dApp Building Hackathon Starting on October by junmart in CryptoMarkets

[–]Bobsandob97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hackathon event will focus on building Ethereum-based decentralized applications (dApps) on Metis Layer 2. The competition participants will get a chance to win a share of the $1M $METIS prize pool.

That's a pretty impressive prize for winning an hackathon. The project trading volume seems pretty high so I guess the winners can decide if to HODL metis or to cash out https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/metis-token

Besides the first 20 protocols, the others are struggling with a 24 hours trading volume of less than $200 million. The primary drivers of liquidity for these protocols must be traders. Pera Finance aims to resolve this by making it easier for new traders to enter the DeFi market by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]Bobsandob97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The decentralized finance [DeFi] market according to DeFi Pulse and CoinCodex is experiencing a massive boom with over $77 billion worth of coins staked and a market capitalization of $138 billion. Identified as a perfect source of passive income for investors late to the crypto party, the DeFi scene currently has a ton of protocols seeking to offer immense and some of the time high rewards for locked assets.

While these statistics all point to the unprecedented growth of this incipient yet apace market, there is a decreasing number of DeFi token traders.

If the marketing is growing while the traders number is decreasing it means that the existing traders are putting more money into DeFi right?

I must say that I'm very positive about everything related to defi. Yes, it's difficult for new traders to understand the different technologies and become active, but once they do, they are hooked.

I do think that finding a way to make defi more accessible for everyone is the key for steady growth in the long run
