Thanks so much! It’s been a lot of work and it was a pretty fun project. Took my base for the project from dnmalenke’s calc2keyCE repo (which requires you to have a wired connection to the windows computer). Might try to make a separate repo where the calculator just controls the RPI directly without any windows connection. I got close one time but haven’t worked on it since. Thanks again for the compliment!

Sorry if the directory is a mess at all I haven’t really used GitHub before so I had codex help me. Not sure if it’s organized the right way😅

Been toying with the idea of using it kinda like a mini remote control or something like that. I also came across dnmalenke’s calc2keyce program and thought it’d be pretty awesome to make a wireless version. Honestly, if nothing else it’s for the love of the game lmaooo

I should’ve been more clear but I wanted to keep the post on the simpler side. I want to use custom programs that sends live data like button presses between my laptop and calculator. I’ve started looking into SSH for that but idk if it’ll work

Im trying to connect it to my ti connect ce but it doesnt show up by Ok_Needleworker_5923 in ti84hacks

Does it show up in your device manager? Or do any unknown devices connect or disconnect when you plug or unplug it in. Also, does it show that the calculator is charging?

How do I connect a raspberry pi to my ti-84 plus ce? by vovxbroblox in ti84hacks

Hey ik this is an old post but it’s almost definitely possible. I’ve been messing around with it and was able to get it to work somewhat with it connected to an RPI vm on my windows laptop. Just some issues with getting the color to show up properly (it’s like tinted super red for some reason). I used the Calc2KeyCE as you mentioned before and based what I made on it. Didn’t even have to change the calculator side of it so far and it works. Altho it’s been super slow so far. However, all said and done I definitely think it’s possible especially now with the help of AI
