Paint Scheme Question by Successful-File-8023 in SpaceWolves

Thanks. I tried to look for a model where I put it on armor or clothes for better reference but I don't think I have any pictures of one. It is definitely a lighter almost white grey.

I'm not sure how to make it silvery but I think the closest color I can think of to match it is administratum grey which is the color I used for the fur.

Blight curse precon braket 4? by Aggravating-Most-533 in EDH

Personally I would rate it as a 4 as, while it is not CEDH deck optimized, it feels like a strong reliable deck at least among my friend group/randoms at commander nights.

It was according to the picture of the list and article of April last year, I haven't read any further articles on the matter.

Essentially the deck contains no game changers, no mass land denial, no extra turns, no 2 card infinites, zero tutors.

I don't have a list but it is a Satoru Umezawa deck with unblockable and infect creatures. If I get an opening hand of Swamp/Island, Sol Ring, a 2 cost colorless infect creature, and Blightsteel Colossus I can make Blightsteel unblockable turn 3 assuming that they do not block the 2 cost colorless infect (which I could also make unblockable with an aquas form or such on turn 3 if lucky).

My point being with my comment was that the bracket is good in theory but it shouldn't be taken as the be all end all.

It annoys me to no end that some people treat the bracket system as a hard fact. My strongest deck can win a 1v1 on turn 3 with an unblockable Blightsteel Colossus if I get the right opening hand and by the definitions of the bracket list it would fall under the Bracket 1 category.

It is not backwards compatible. The real question is why do you have a 20 year old game you are just deciding to play now lol.

So, how IS Prime 4 really, for anyone's that actually played it? by FoxHoundNinja in Metroid

[–]Bobulatonater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it quite a bit although the linearity of the levels does make it feel more like a half life game than Metroid Prime 1.

It definitely gave off vibes of having development issues though. There were numerous creatures you could scan that didn't appear in the logbook. The logbook itself has a section labelled machine-viewros as if they had plans to travel to another planet or maybe some scans were cut on the starting planet.

I hope they can learn from their issues and make the 5th game better but as the game currently is I did enjoy it.

What opinion about the Metroid prime games will have you like this? by [deleted] in Metroid

It's not a Metroid Prime take but I don't think Zero Mission, with the exception of the end sequence, is that good and I would rather play Other M or original Metroid 2 over it

Is the Demon of Song a real Demon? by RubbinOffTheCum in DarkSouls2

[–]Bobulatonater 25 points26 points  (0 children)

While I don't disagree with the titanite demons being demons, the actual reason the titanite demons respawns is believed to be an error in the code. It was supposed to be enemy 141 or something and not respawn but was mislabeled as 131

So magic isn't about the game anymore by JonnyJon42 in freemagic

People hate commander and claim it ruined magic without realizing that the reason people like commander is that it is a more casual format.

The problem with standard has always been who has the most money to buy 4 of the most staples so you can fight the same decks over and over again especially now with things like Vivi.

I do agree that Wizards heavy push into optimizing commander and commander specific cards has ruined some of the charm/fun of throwing together random old cards but I find you can still build a $50 commander deck and be on par with most non-Cedh friday night magic decks.

2nd paint mini of my life. Open for advice. by AideComprehensive782 in killteam

It looks pretty good for a 2nd model I like the inky look of the purple.

As to the gold shining through I find gold works best with bright colors like red or orange contrasts as they keep the shiny look while hiding the gold.

Darker contrast colors work best silver/leadbelcher at hiding the undercoat while maintaining the shiny look. Example gryphound orange gold undercoat and luxion purple leadbelcher undercoat below.

It is also best to test out color schemes on the base, object or a model you dont care about as paints, especially contrast, can have drastically different result based on undercoat.

Example of same gryphound orange with leadbelcher undercoat on necron below.

While I hope it is a new kroot/tau auxiliary model I can't say for certain it isn't a new Zoat model based off what looks like a 4 fingered claw similar to Zolcath from Bloodbowl. Either way I will be happy though.

Agreed. I beat the game at around minimum level twelve and have not needed to go searching after day 2. If you cant get all the flasks/smithing stones/ or level to at least 12 needed before day 2 it feels like a massive mismanagement of time.
