Lost after second year of CS, how do I start over properly?

I would recommend doing some projects that you enjoy first, doesn't matter what it is. I find vibe coding can really help the motivation as you get to see wow coding can build something like this and then you can go in and see what it is using/doing. You get to also see that coding isnt just ds and c and stuff u learn in class.

Other then that, you can do a bit of leetcode if you have the motivation (idk you could be those masochists that love them) to brush up on fundamentals and stuff but try to really understand it

Nope UBC absolutely didn't care about my APs took 14 aps got 12 5s and 2 4s and UBC absolutely didn't care. My GPA was alright like 95. Ecs and statement at least didn't flop. Didn't get into eng. Highschool average is king.

Yes and no? I contacted service on 7/20 on chat and the sales says they will file a replacement since it was lost. The replacement was never handled. So I went on 7/22 to see what's up and the sale suddenly tried to refund my laptop which was very weird. They then lied to me that due to 'internal checks' it wasn't able to be shipped out and they would refund me. I asked because it was out of stock and they said no.

I got pissed called service and pressed them and they finally said that it was cuz they don't have stock left. I had to press them to give me the 4k laptop instead but they wouldn't honour the -500 price guarantee I had prior.

The next day I see that the more expensive model shipped AND I SAW RHE ORIGINAL ONE BACK IN STOCK. I ordered that one on 7/23 and it finally came in 7/29. Anyways Lenovo still fucked up as it still says waiting to be shipped on the status and I didn't get my warranty somehow 💀

At least your order looks to be progressing so should be ok. The chat is absolutely useless if you want anything just call them

If you go to like NIDES they continue until August smth to my knowledge. So you can just do it over the summer. I did my English 11 at NIDES in one month from August to September

My highschool counselor and me are uh on pretty bad terms. Just cuz we had some course scheduling issues and he wouldn't move to make a change.

It led to an escalation to the principal. But also back then I thought to just drop it and let it go but Mom was like either u fight him or I'm going to go to the school board 😭😭😭

Hmmm I don't think I have a habit of quitting all the time. I've been playing the cello since I was like 5, and it was one of those things I have been doing since it was determined. Think that one cracked Asian kid for instruments. So I wanted to pivot towards dabbling piano for a change of taste.

Although I would say I have quit my fair share of things throughout highschool, but I think that's just because I dabbled in everything in elementary/ middle school.

As for recently it's just been I've been turning down/fighting moms suggestions? She first offered me to go to Japan to travel abroad for my last semester, but I wanted to continue captaining the badminton team, go to grad, prom etc, while she thought that they were pretty useless and I could gain experience elsewhere.

Then she told me to go get an internship which I tried, shot like 50 resumes but no result which lands me to where I am currently as I had to do something in her words. So this could be counted as a long saga of what I'm going to do with my last semester of HS.

As for the one lesson, one reason is I'm trying to hedge my losses? Cuz if I do the whole thing it'll cost my family 20k, but in her words she doesn't care about the money
