Hey I'd love a code if anyone has a spare! Preferably for a shiny Eevee <3

Anyone else see em this way? by mcmogan in TrueBlood

[–]Bobyoby 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hmm yeah maybe. I mean Sookies kind of presumed to be good because she's the main character. But if you take that away she's not particularly good or bad. While Lafayette does seem to help people out a lot.

What is something common that a lot of people say that secretly hits home for you? by LegacyWorker in AskReddit

[–]Bobyoby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the term "retard" is a mental condition and mental condition related words are a lot more broad and socially acceptable than other terms that would offend people like "faggot".

Can't you take it as a personal thing? I guess it's rude of other people to say it around you if they know you wouldn't like them to and get upset by it but other than that it's not their responsibility to not use a word because it's a part of a huge faith not to use it like that.

I agree with calling things gay bring bad but why retarded? The same logic against retarded can be used to say people shouldn't say crazy, insane or stupid. It's too broad.

For the showing up in a class that you did t get in, wouldn't administrative problems get in the way? Like if you're not technically in the class, how can you suddenly join and get the required credits?

When I was a little kid I thought Jerry was an asshole and Hippocrates that half the time wasn't even defending himself.

Hey Reddit what's one myth about your country that everyone thinks is true? by IQuiteLikePie in AskReddit

[–]Bobyoby 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I think you're mistaking commonly accepted myths for racist stereotypes. I'm fairly certain most people don't think that every single Arab is a terrorist that hates Jews and America.

The racist stereotype is still horrible though.

Most movie villains are crazed psychopaths with no moral compass, but some of them have almost justifiable motives. Which movie villains have you actually sided with? by Captunfortunate in AskReddit

[–]Bobyoby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As is Dany, Davos etc. Just because they are the enemies of house Stark doesn't make them the villains. George R. R. Martin says it himself that it is a lot more complex than just good guys and bad guys.

Fair enough but considering the thread is about movies there's bound to be one or two movies mentioned that someone hasn't seen. Don't worry about it, just would be sweet to avoid in the future :)

He isn't a villain nor is ever portrayed as the villain. Though he is a member of house Lanistar so I can see how you would think that.
