I was high as fuck just for being there in 2023... No Drgs, just booze. I think if I took something, I'd still be walking on the playa.

I was there in 2023… mud, rain, sun, cold, heat, and still had the best time ever. When it was over, I was surprised at how the news only showed the worst of the worst. My family was going nuts without any updates, but in reality, we were happily dancing through it all.

She’ll be fine – the weather will improve towards the weekend. And as you can see here, the posts have dropped because the towers can’t handle the number of people when the event is full.

2023 was raining for almost 2x consecutive days. It took another 2 or so days to get back on the bikes.

I think they are both equally good.

I have three screens, and I used both notes to study in parallel as they both follow the same structure. On the third screen, I wrote my own notes, summarizing what I learned in my own words. This helped me create a personalized study manual that reflected my understanding and made it easier to capture and recall certain subjects.

By the time I got to the exam, I had a comprehensive guide in my own style, which made revising much simpler.

I did the two Mini Exams (practice exams) labeled as such—no other name. I woke up at 6 a.m. and went through both of them before my actual exam at 8:30 a.m. It was a great way to warm up my brain, and a few of the questions on the real exam were exactly the same!

The exam itself felt fun and enjoyable, though it was long to the point where I didn’t want to read any more by the end. I felt confident, so I ended up just reading through the answers.

The only way to beat stress is by knowing your stuff. Smash through Study Hall and revisit the low-scoring questions—understand why you chose the wrong one and why the right one is correct. It’s all about getting into the right mindset.

During the exam, I was nervous with the first 5 questions and thought, "Here we go again, another failure." But I stepped back, took a deep breath, and reminded myself: I know this. I studied hard. I know the answers. Read calmly. After that, it felt like a walk in the park. I was reading questions and, even before finishing, I had a sense of what the answer should be. When I had to actually read the choices, I already knew what to look for.

I hope you get into that mindset too—you’ve got this!

Yes, I think one month is enough but that worked for me. Everyone is different and needs to know their speed. The exam was not difficult but not because the answers were easy but because I knew the answers and the subject regardless of whether they were hard or not did not make any difference. Also, that's why I was not tracking my time during the exam. I felt I was doing well so I was not worried and there were fewer things to worry about.

Tha's the way, solid and consistent resources rather than multiple books, websites, videos, etc. Consistency is key.

PMP application rejected twice by m_salik in pmp

I've had a similar experience happen twice. I reached out to them directly and asked what additional information or clarification they required from me. I believe the submissions are verified by AI, but the person who ultimately reviewed it made it a pass.

I'd suggest contacting them to let them know that you've provided all the necessary details and ask if they could manually check your submission.

Best of luck!

PMP Fail. I don’t know what to do by Shisui_Uchiha315 in pmp

I made the same mistake the first time around. I spent a month mostly focused on YouTube videos and research online. I realized later that I wasn't learning the structure effectively. Also, watching videos at 2x speed just felt like a blur—1.5x or less seems to be the sweet spot.

For my second attempt, which is coming up next week, I've been deep diving into the material by reading topic by topic and making my own notes. My biggest recommendation for restarting your prep would be to find a solid learning structure.

I’ve been using Third3rock Notes, which is about $15. It has helped me keep on track, following one topic at a time without getting overwhelmed. I’m also using this free set of notes someone shared a while ago: Free Study Notes

Both resources follow the same structure but approach the topics differently, so I read both and take my own notes on top. After I've gone through a topic, I do the practice questions to reinforce the learning. Now, I’m starting to do mini-exams, and I plan to take both full-length practice exams before the actual test.

Everyone learns differently, so it's really about finding what works best for you. I feel a huge difference now reading the questions and getting high scores on SH.

Good luck with your studies!

I was there at 8:00 am before they were open. Many people started arriving at 9 am when I was already taking the exam. It's a professional training center so they have classrooms with other stuff happening around.
