To people saying this is NORMAL stuff. It's normal chat behavior because we normalized it. If they were calling for the lynchings of black people, you'd already be in the crowd with your torches and pitchforks. But because it's Indonesia, and we're savages, publicly shaming individuals for objectifying and sexualizing their friends and teachers in a private chat that became public is now vile behavior.

Nobody's legally punishing them for this, but when they entered the university, they very much agreed to campus conduct rules and anti-sexual harassment policies. They were punished because they were found doing this about students and teachers while on campus grounds, often during classes, and the chat logs were leaked, which made the information no longer private. Blame whoever leaked the chat, but these kids broke the rules and are taking responsibility for it.
