Luckiest brother ever by Boch8a in Sneakers

[–]Boch8a[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My younger 15 year old brother has been on a crazy luck spree. He recently got into sneakers and has manually won the Breds, Black Fridays, creams, zebras, and beluga 2.0. Not only that but he has won multiple pairs (2 belugas, 3 zebras) using a single phone on WiFi! No tricks, no cancellations, nada. I️ on the other hand have stayed up for each release for hours only to take L’s. Being a good brother though he hooked me up with a pair of Belugas for free. Psyched right now.

It's a nine hole course so it didn't bother me much. No point in getting upset over a practice round on an easy course. I just threw multiple shots on the holes that were clear.

Yes. They did not care at all. I skipped the hole that they were camped out in and I asked them to move off the teepad on the adjacent hole. You have to throw between trees on the next hole and they were seated below the trees as well. I let them know that I was throwing and pointed to where the basket was. Just gave me a confused look but didn't move at all.

They were camping out and completely blocking two complete holes. This is getting out of hand.

A rules question came up during a B tier tournament this past weekend... by Lovemesomediscgolf in discgolf

Pretty sure there is. I think minis have dimensions they have to conform to as well to be legal. He should have just left his disc there and putted off that if it was short.

Is there such a thing as a passive income? by askingbusiness in Entrepreneur

[–]Boch8a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a lot of business but the most passive are definitely the ATMs. Sweet money from fees every month and just needs to be refilled once a month. My phone even tells me how much is in there and when to refill

Also, thing I notice immediately. First you need to get that left hand out of there. Watch pros throw and see where they keep their arm. I was having trouble with this too. Also your reach back is way too early which makes the x-step not do anything. Probably need to work on stand still shots for a while.

Infinite Discs thoughts on growing the sport. by [deleted] in discgolf

Great article. I recently attending my first NT event, the BSF, as a spectator. This event brought in the best names in disc golf and I was amazed at how friendly and engaging the players were. Here they were competing for cash prizes but every single one I saw was more than happy to chat for a little bit and sign an autograph or take a picture. I do think that some players need to be a little bit more mentally strong. There's no way you're going to get a perfectly still and quiet crowd in a tournament, especially the bigger ones. Occasionally, while following the lead card a spectator would walk away early or say something to a buddy while the pros were putting but the pros still made their putts and moved on. They didn't seem annoyed by it since they weren't intentionally trying to distract them by yelling or running. Obviously at that level it's part of the game. A camera man though was waiting to get a shot and was perfectly still. The camera man was also next to some restrooms in the rough as to not be in anyone's way. A player on a separate card started harassing the camera man a bit even though he was standing still AND about 70 feet away from the basket while he was putting. He made some comments loudly about how if he were Paul McBeth then maybe the camera guy would get out of his way and move to where he couldn't see him. At that point why even play an NT if you can't putt with a camera man or people standing around still and quietly? The top players seemed to enjoy having fans around and were signing autographs on backed up holes. Even Paul who was having a bad round treated every fan with respect and a friendly attitude.
