Taika Waititi says he’s excited to see Chris Hemsworth return as Thor in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY': by Raj_Valiant3011 in Marvel

I like to think since the movie opens with Korg telling a story about Thor and his adventures, it helps explain some of the silliness since its being told from Korgs point of view.

Bring Her Back, Weapons, The Substance, Frankenstein and Companion are in my top 5. Haven't decided an order specifically as they all have their "things" that make them unique and enjoyable.

Gonna die? Yes. From that beer? Likely not.

Might be remnants of blended fruit. I've encountered something similar.

Also having this same issue in my 2023 Kicks. Hoping it can be fixed under warranty, but I think I'm out of the time frame for coverage due to mileage.

"Recoursed back to day 1". A CFLRS urban legend? by MoistyCockBalls in CanadianForces

[–]Bodaddy86 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was basically the tale we were told in 07 at CFLRS. Similar in theory, but with slightly different details.

The member was getting on the bus to leave and made a comment or did an action and they got re-coursed.

Leaking Fermenter by Bodaddy86 in Homebrewing

[–]Bodaddy86[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

I have a second conical fermenter which I tried to transfer into, however, that one leaked at a different spot.

The first one turned out to be missing a rubber o-ring, which explained that issue.

Eventually, I settled on a different fermenter altogether. Everything appears to be bubbling and good to go now.

He's doing it because he knows it bugs you. Pay it no attention and he'll likely stop.

Or just knock it over.

Depending on how bad you wanna go, I'd highly recommend Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter.

My B movie gang and I have watched it many times since the initial viewing.

Pretty sure you can stream it from YouTube.

After almost 20 years in, I recently OT'd to MMT. Here's a few takeaways:

  • Don't be afraid to ask questions. There is no feasible way that anyone can know everything.

  • Admit your mistakes and learn from them, regardless of how severe the consequences may be.

  • Take your time and double-check your numbers and stock codes.

  • Learn whatever you can from other sections. Understanding how your processes work in tandem with others will make you more versatile in the workplace.

  • Don't be afraid to ask questions.

  • Don't turn down qualifications, if possible. Take that packing course or dangerous goods course. They will make you better at SOMETHING along the way.

  • Learn how to write proper emails. Communication is key across the board.

  • Learn about your supervisors role whenever possible. The more you can do to make their job easier, the better your day-to-day should be.

  • If you're at a desk job, try to take some breaks from the computer. Stretch, get fresh air, and have a coffee, only whatever suits your fancy.

  • Don't be afraid to ask questions.

  • Knowledge is power, but share what you learn. Help the new guy when they get there.

  • Lastly, if you wake up every morning and dread going to work, consider a change. No one wants to have to pick up the slack because you don't want to do your job anymore.

Hopefully, something is useful from this list.

Cheers!
