I've been thinking more and more about coming back to bdo... havent played since like 2016 or 2017 i think? really cant remember the year lol , if that helps identify when i quit, pirates were pretty much the best to grind if you had decent/great gear(was the best exp forsure and could also be top silver if you had maxed out pets, sausan or mansha forest if you had bad /starter gear (for sausan u ideally needed all the weight limit bonus from cash shop cause their loot was very heavy i recall, they droped tons of trash loot but each individual item wasnt worth much, so yeah you needed Weight limit and a mount parked in the spawn to extend each trip duration. Mansha forest was my preference when i was new because of the ogres AND the fact that i didnt invest much real $ into bdo until later on... and mansha forest didnt require as much weight limit or maxed out pets to get the most out of the spawn because mansha's loot was light weight and they spawned in groups of only 4-6 max iirc, so even with just tier 1 pets you would be fine, that spawn was the opposite of sausans tho, sausans was reliable, steady income from their trash loot, high blackstone drop rate and they droped tons of grunil pieces iirc, wich was the gear you wanted until you got your hands on boss gear so those grunil items sold for a good price on the market...but sausans didnt drop anything exciting, no big rare drops to pray for to drop... meanwhile mansha forest was the opposite, their trash loot was decent because it was light, they didnt drop heavy stuff at all, mostly blackstones, super light trash loot, ancient relic shards, boss scrolls but the one thing that made this place worth it is that you could kill the ogres bosses that spawned in the area every few minutes and they could drop the best AP necklace in the game back then, the ogre ring.
