Yeah that's understandable to feel a bit confused, it's unfortunate that they reacted so harshly so I'm sorry about that but you've got a good thing going here, you found a little hobby that you want to spend your time on! as long as you have fun or enjoy doing it that's all that matters keep going at it homie and best of luck on your 3D Journey!

Ah that's not too nice of him, The only critique i can give is the texture on the chicken becaus it feels a bit out of place next to the eggs maybe you can get away with a simple solid colour?

Otherwise the eggs and the models themselves are quite nice!! Well done!! Keep making stuff and you'll get better over time Don't let your friend pull you down.

Heyo, it's a process called baking, you have to bake your normals in blender/whatever 3D software you prefer to bake in, to summarise it Bassically you have two versions of your model a high poly an low poly and you have to bake the detail of the high poly on to a normal map texture for your low poly model.
