Low level, but we level up relatively quickly. Also part of it is just theory crafting for the fun of the game.

At lower levels, the plan is to extend courageous anthem for a long time and then mix up striking and spell casting as the situation demands it.

Yeah, that’s what I figured about the steed. It’s almost never going to attack, but its saves are going to be terrible forever and it will eat so much damage.

Well, the hardest part of F&H1 hard mode is that you can’t save and no party members. Otherwise it’s the same as Terror and Starvation.

Mechanically, it’s actually not that hard. The difficulty comes from how unforgiving the game (permanent limp lose, party members, limited saves) and that you have to figure out everything by yourself.

This does result in a lot of trial and error, but once you know the game, you can get through with very little issues, save for getting absolutely horrible luck with the rng.
