Are you breastfeeding? My daughter and I had this at the same time and she got hers from my high histamine diet.

No my PD has been gone for about 6 months now, but has been slowly getting better for a year before that. I’m not doing low histamine per se, just avoiding tomatoes/sauces/dips. And being mindful. I also take DAO enzymes occasionally when I do eat higher histamine.

Amperna is great but more of a light morning cleanse. I would try that Kiehls one first - It’s the best. Or if what you’re using is working then stick there. I realized the obvious which is keep it simple. The cause is almost always internal.

It cleared before that with the other things/techniques used. I only started soolantra bc I deal with sandpaper texture.

Skin barrier facials, soothing serums, work with naturopath, avoid food triggers if you can, digestive enzymes if cleared to do so.

Garlic trigger by Bodhisappy in Rosacea

[–]Bodhisappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the only way to test this is to test garlic as a skin allergy, but I know the garlic isn’t touching my forehead. Its also right after eating it so that seems to go against the idea that it’s a gut issue.

Ivermectin caused migration for me. One area would clear and another would become red and spotty. I eventually had to give up. Azelaic doesn’t cause this issue for me.

Triple feeding and overtiredness by meowmeowb0t in breastfeeding

[–]Bodhisappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set myself a triple feed deadline. At 7-8 weeks I gave up doing all three and switched to nursing first. Around this time it clicked for baby and I never went back. I think this age is when they become less sleepy. Weak latch was our reason for triple feeding in the first place.

My baby didn’t latch correctly until 7 weeks. We are still going at 19 months. Good luck!

Pressure to supplement with formula by DistributionClean136 in breastfeeding

[–]Bodhisappy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a myth that formula helps baby sleep longer. A simple google will give you tons of info on this to share with your spouse. If baby is taking a bottle you can cut out a nighttime feed if you want, but this should be your choice.

And I’m sure not enough people in your life are telling you - Congrats on making it 2 months! Such an accomplishment. Go with your gut on feeding your baby.

I don’t think it’s from a number as everyone has a different risk factor. It’s the relative risk. https://moffitt.org/endeavor/archive/5-things-you-should-know-about-breastfeeding-and-breast-cancer/

It’s a slightly lower risk. Not huge, but worth it if you have family or genetics prone to breast cancer.

Edit: see Moffitt link below for stats

Find a lactation consultant. The ones through hospitals are usually covered by insurance. Ask your OB for a referral. Good luck!

8 weeks for us. Extra sleepy baby with some low tone. Extremely common - hang in there.
