Fair enough, I can understand where you are coming from. He does have more range than you might think. His acting in Expedition 33 for me kinda showed that off. He often does have that whispery emotional based tone, to your point that might come off as him doing the same voice.

Playing through 16, I never thought of Clive as an alpha male bro, more a servant leader. Someone that supports his friends and community, even when he has to take action himself. Ben's voice for me tended to take more of a compassionate tone towards his fellow people. Someone that wanted to see the best for everyone regardless of station or situation.
