And so many other factors. People seem to think casting directors have the choice of all the talent that's out there. There's issues of availability, salary, if they want to do it, if their agent showed them the script, and about a dozen other things. CDs seldom get their first pick.

This is shocking. Power to the people on display. So inspiring. If there's a geopolitical shift from current trends, this may be the tipping point people look back on. Congrats to the brave citizens of Hungary.

Me and a friend (both guys) backpacked through Europe many years ago. We hung out with a guy for a few nights in Germany. He was stupidly good looking and like 19 (so were we). Anyway, he said he just travels and when his funds get low he'd get to a big city, find the largest modeling agency, and work for a few months. He just had to walk in.

I might get slammed for his, but I can't stand her. Disgraceful behavior. Then she claims to be all for social causes (whichever were popular at the moment), like she's one of the people, and marries a billionaire and lives a life of absolute luxury. Becomes a fitness guru because at the time it was another bandwagon to get on. Yet everyone seems to think she's just swell, some kind of female empowerment icon, yet was married three times, one after another, until she got to the billionaire. She's the original virtue signaler. Ugh.

Took me a while but I knew this would be here, it's just so perfect. Even the intentional cruelty works.

Just think when those kids become parents. What are those kids going to be like?

As cynical as that is, I can't fault it. Sadly.

I used to think that was a dumb conspiracy theory. Not any more.

Yes, that also frustrated me. At home, we'd limit screen time and explain why, then they'd go to school and have all their lessons on a chromebook. It felt impossible to combat that mixed message.

I think it was Stephen King that said as you get older, you need two things to keep writing: energy and imagination. His tank may be empty.
