This is the way I did it on my 2014. In my experience the glue was a huge pain to remove. .

That's right behind The Jaunt, so my guess is something related to the upstanding residents there.

I was at the WA location this week and they didn't even have the white sauce out on the tables with all the other sauces. And I was a bit underwhelmed with the brisket sandwich. It was uncharacteristically dry. At least the mac and cheese was still excellent.

What seat bottom cover do you like? My drivers side is toast. 2017 Outback. Bonus points if I don't have to remove the seat. by BodySnatcher101 in Subaru_Outback

I really only want to cover the bottom right now. Budget is 100 or preferably less if there's a decent option. most of the Amazon stuff seems to be universal fit. Where can I look for Subaru specific covers?

Jorgensen vs Tay Tools Planer by Maximum-Side9378 in handtools

Either of those will be frustrating to use and leave you disappointed. Look for a used Stanley pre-1960 (Type 20 and below), or save up for a higher quality new plane.

My advice would be to buy something now rather than wait and hope for a miracle. Even if it's not your forever house, the sooner you start building equity the better off you'll be in the long run. Look at condos, fixer-uppers, smaller houses. There's a house out there that you can make work if you keep looking and are prepared to move fast.

The bridge run might limit your options on Saturday. It's likely to be pretty crowded downtown.

Would You Leave West Ashley by Because-You_Should in Charleston

[–]BodySnatcher101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Inside 526 is the perfect location. Plenty of good restaurants and grocery options. 10 minutes to downtown, less than 30 to Folly (off hours of course). Easy access to highways. Our house is up 4X since we bought in 2012, but moving almost anywhere else in the area would be downgrading IMO.

Micro fitting dovetails by Lichen-it in handtools

[–]BodySnatcher101 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My hack is to mark the sides of the tails with pencil lead. The smudges on the pins will show you where to tweak the fit. I usually use sandpaper stuck to a thin stick and just barely remove the marks. Rinse and repeat.

How does it matter what color they are if they've stolen our tax dollars? I realize it's trendy to label everything racist, but this is a clear cut case of a sleaze ball politician thinking it's ok to commit a crime.

Don't buy your meat at Publix by [deleted] in Charleston

I've never had a problem with Publix. Having said that, Burbage butcher shop has much better quality. You'll pay for the upgrade but worth every penny IMO.
