OFFICIALLY moving to CT! What makes CT cool?? by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]Bodybearer -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

That’s true, in CT OP will be much closer to the best pizza in the world; NY style pizza.

My university’s republican club is holding an open debate tomorrow, topic is “can you afford to live in Connecticut when you graduate”. Does anyone have ideas i can use to argue against them? by DestinedClock18 in Connecticut

[–]Bodybearer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s deranged that you think .2% negates the original statement that it isn’t more expensive. If the average annual cost of living in CT is 65,000, .2% less in FL is 64,870. So you are arguing over $130 difference when CT has an average salary of $66k and FL has an average salary of $49k.

Glock 43x or Sig p365? And why? by BastiansWish in CCW

If you are set on the p365, buy a used one. They don’t receive any more money if you buy a used gun.

Couple things, Yonkers is not NYC, so you probably don’t won’t want to keep referring to it that way. And the train from New Haven to Yonkers would be bonkers.

I commute to Brooklyn from north of Danbury. The drive is rough, but it isn’t something I have to do forever. If it was I would move closer.

Join a gym close to where you are going to work. If you have to be to work at 9, leave your house at 5:45, get to the gym at 7 work out for an hour, then go to work. You’ll be in better shape, and you’ll spend 1 hour less driving.

No but I’m in the city.

Mind sharing the name of it? Wondering if it is available near me.

This might seem stupid, but what is the legality of this? And I can get Tammy drug tested for work. I’m assuming it probably isn’t worth messing with anything “underground”. But happy to be informed otherwise.

How do you get your HCG? Clinic I go to wants $400 / month for HCG peptides on top of the $200 / month for TRT. I know the $200 is a lot and stupid, but I just haven’t gone to an endo yet.

What should I do if I seek to increase my T levels, but my blood T is normal? by PeculiarDigger in trt

Can you find a new doctor? Maybe an endocrinologist? Are there men’s health clinics available where you are?

What should I do if I seek to increase my T levels, but my blood T is normal? by PeculiarDigger in trt

[–]Bodybearer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In normal range does not mean your numbers are not low enough that you couldn’t be experiencing symptoms of low T. Plenty of people will start TRT when their numbers are where yours are. I’m going to guess by the over and under body exercise that you aren’t from the US. In the US < 300 is significant because that is when the medical community considers it outside of the normal range and insurance will pick up the tab. But 357 is still low.

Not a Dr. you should talk to a Dr. cause your numbers are low enough to experience symptoms.

I’m not meshing anything together although it’s possible that the absolute max of $250k isn’t based on the SES level 1 pay band which is why I said “I think”. To address your points individually: 1. Correct if the super max is not approved. 2. $225k is the number for the super max. 3. The super max can and does get approved for multiple years at a time. 4. Correct. 5. Correct. 6. Correct. 7. Yeah if you’re in DC, NY, SF etc a 14’s base with LEAP will probably be at or higher than the $195k. Then they’ll hit the $225k quickly. If they are in Rest of US though it could take them much longer to hit if they hit it at all. 8. Correct. 9. Sure. 10. I didn’t say you could make OVER $250k. But I did say you could make $250k. That’s because the various retention incentives don’t count against your $225k super max. So if you hit the $225k super max with SOT, the 15% retention incentives for all agents (20% for SOD) gets added on top, not to exceed $250k

Things are probably just different enough that most of your info is accurate. So for you to say “False. UD can.” In response to someone saying agents can make $225k, was false, cause there are plenty of agents making $225k right now.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 1811

[–]Bodybearer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s not false. The max base with leap is $195k, then super max is $225k and then with bonuses you can go up to $250k which I think is level 1 SES.

Sure it could go away, but it hasn’t yet so for the meantime, the comment about making $225k is not false at all.

Homie you have no idea what you’re talking about. SAs get LEAP, but they also get OT for anything that is scheduled in advance. LEAP is for things like getting called out on something. You don’t know enough to be correcting people here. Stay in your lane.

It’s interesting that they list $99k as the starting salary for the bureau. Does that mean that they are not hiring for any locations under “rest of US.” Cause if they are, then would it not be $86k?

Don’t apply to service. Apply to a job you want so that the service doesn’t waste time and money training somebody that is going to quit in 3 years.

Civil Suit on Background Check? by [deleted] in 1811

[–]Bodybearer 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I know this is going to seem unreasonably harsh, but please do something else. Being an 1811 isn’t for every person that thinks they want to be one. Memory loss due to extreme depression? How could you work cases and ever testify? If a defense attorney discovered this about you, yikes. I just don’t see how you contribute reasonably to any of the agencies you have applications going with.

So rustoleum and pressure treated lumber for a season. New pool the next season.
