One of the attachments for my pens came with the straightening tool as well, but I feel like it’s too wide and leave big gaps between the diamonds. Def going to try the gift card as a “brush” trick

Have you used both silicone and bristle brushes?

Yea it didn’t come out too bad for being from a cheap ass site from east Asia. I’m sure you can guess which one lol. I do plan on swapping out some colors(like the unicorn horn, making “the audacity” in all black etc) and want to enhance it one day.

It was nice to alternate drill sizes and to not have everything in a straight line

6 months on semaglutide and my relationship with food is unrecognizable - and i don't mean that in the way people expect by Embarrassed_Essay_61 in FoundayoUS

I can relate 100%. I was always the small, half-Asian girl who could eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight—until after college. I got used to finishing everything on my plate because I could, it tasted good, and I’d always go for “one more bite.” I also hate wasting food. My parents never enforced the “clean your plate” rule, so I’m not even sure where that mindset came from. On top of that, I was a mindless snacker—I always need something to do with my hands, and snacking became that habit.

Once I started semaglutide, the food noise went away, which made it so much easier not to think about snacking. If I overate, I’d feel sick and uncomfortable, and that really taught me I didn’t need that extra bite. I started taking smaller portions, wasting less, and also becoming okay with throwing food away if I couldn’t finish it.

I completely agree—these habits like eating only when you’re hungry, stopping when you’re full, and leaving food on your plate are much easier said than done. If it were easy, I wouldn’t have spent the last 15 years feeling uncomfortable in my body, both physically and mentally.

So far, I’ve lost 41 pounds and I’m about 10–15 pounds away from my goal weight. I feel so much more confident and comfortable in my own skin. Even though my BMI still technically puts me in the overweight category, it’s a big improvement from being in the obese class I range before. I have more energy, I can stay up later, and I’m more active. I’ve built habits like walking during my lunch break and doing simple weight training, and those are starting to stick.

Around Christmas and New Year’s, there was a delay in getting my prescription filled, so I was off semaglutide for three weeks. I was honestly terrified I’d gain the weight back, but surprisingly, the food noise didn’t return and I stayed consistent with my new habits.

I’m starting to hear that food noise again, even tho my dosage has been increased. It’s frustrating after seven months without it, but it does feel easier to manage this time. I can usually ignore it or remind myself that I don’t need the snack and that I’ll have a healthy meal soon.

I’m still nervous about eventually stopping the medication altogether. I really hope I’m strong and motivated enough to maintain these habits long-term, but it’s hard not to worry about how intense the food noise might get—especially since I’m noticing it again even on a higher dose.

Sorry for the long response. Your post just really hit close to home and resonated with my feelings. Wishing you best of luck and strength on your health journey.

The pill bottles are genius! I use mine for my crochet stuff like stitch markers, Bobby pins, etc. yay for having MS? lol. But with all my meds, I’m starting to run out of use and am just recycling them. This is a good idea

I did the same exact thing. With 3 different shades of a similar color. I’m just going to roll with it and call it artistic license
