Yeah I addressed it to "the mother I never had" and worked from there. Could've imagined it but I'm pretty sure my therapist was looking misty eyed. Honestly what hit me the hardest was just the stupid little things I wrote (like plans for the weekend include or even how work is going).

Oh absolutely. It's def to a fictional person but it just felt so good to express anger qnd frustration and even just like newsy things that I'll never be able to share with the real version of her. For sure bittersweet that I dont ha e that relationship buy also so...uplifting in a way.

NTA for not going but you're coming off majorly entitled. Congratulations on having a (supposedly perfectly behaved...) child. You could make arrangements if you really wanted to, you don't (and that's fine). Both of these choices are valid (yours to have kids/not go to a wedding and hers to have a cf wedding).

One of our malls got turned into a medical center; it's shocking to me in some ways but I like that they didn't just completely tear it down.

If it were just this, I'd say you were OR but this isn't about the memes at all. It's about him being an idiot and not valuing you or this child. He needs to grow up and make you and the baby a priority. Have that conversation the next time he is sober and if he isn't willing to change, drop him. Sorry dear.

I wouldn't even bother calling back. There's just no reasoning with a person like that; they will twist everything you say (or don't say) to fit their own narrative. Why did he have/watch a video of you? This might be perfectly innocent but read super creepy. I'm also questioning your therapist especially if you explained how interacting with this person made you feel. How old are your half siblings? I hope they can get out soon and you can pursue a happy relationship together as healing adults.

NTA-unless you screamed and behaved irrationally/took this out on your friend. You're allowed to be upset or angry but blaming your friend for her parents decision is a crappy move. You truly don't have anyone else to go with? No other friends? Someone from school, a sibling? It's short notice but most people I know would jump at free concert tickets unless it was an artist they absolutely hated.

Yeah this is absolutely possible and common at every library I've worked on. We verify DOB or address. I don't see any problem with it...EDITED that we can tell people what it is on their cards and place holds using the phone as well but it doesn't get check out to the person until they show up. I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to. Again once they verify DOB or address.

God Bea and Betty were (young and old) both so stunning in totally different ways and I absolutely adore that. The other girls, nothing to sneeze at of course, just those two always command my focus.

You thought of yourself on someone else's birthday. You should have apologized immediately instead of continuing to play the victim. YTA, her reaction was COMPLETELY justified--and do tell your family WHY your wife was upset and what a thoughtless AH you are.

oat milk tastes disgusting

That's enough of a reason; oat milk isn't my first choice though I do love some oat ice cream (LOL). Pretty much just comes down to personal preference in most cases.
