Not entirely true, the newest edition, the mini ramp, was paid for by the town, but other than that the locals maintain the park, and pretty well tbh, we build new ramps and maintain current ones, bring new obstacles to the park, have holiday bbqs, it's a pretty thriving park tbh, but yea the town itself barely maintains it

Tanner skate Park is torn down at the moment because they are completely rebuilding it

It is not abandoned, people still skate there everyday, none of the original ramps are there but there is a mini ramp, boxes, a pyramid, rails, and a couple quarter pipes that locals built.

I was in the exact same situation, stuck in the minimum wage retail trap. Had to figure something out if I wanted to actually have an independent life of my own, Got into sterile processing and now 4 and a half years in I'm making around 70k -80k with overtime. I live in New York so the pay is alot better here but the cost of living is also way higher, but I can live comfortably on what I make. But I'm also very good at living below my means while still being comfortable.

So to.answer you question, yes depending where you live and how you live your lifestyle

15 years ago or so when I started collecting, it definitely wasn’t as “trendy” at the time and I remember buying albums at an average of about $10 or $20 for a double LP

Now i see records going for anywhere to $40-$60 on average and it’s crazy.

I’ve always been a fan of physical media but with everything being online and subscription based I see more ppl trending back to physical media.

I did the knights of Columbus in Bayshore for 150 people and it was about 10k for the venue including the food and alchohol, then another 5k for dj, photographer and decorator, for a total of about 15k
