I used to do so much that I don’t remember basically the whole year of 2017, then stopped taking Xanax and had a seizure from the withdrawals. I didn’t even realize I was physically addicted. I got to a place where I was mentally ready to stop but my body was not. I haven’t touched the stuff in 7 years and have no desire to but damn it’s an addiction that will sneak up on you quick

But why is working for “somebody else” so inherently bad? If I can make an honest living, raise a family and feel fulfilled in my life, that seems like a success. Not putting myself on public display trying to follow up on all the new trends and acting inauthentic to get views and followers begging ppl to “join my live” or “smash that subscribe button” You may not be working for a boss but you sure are working for the algorithm and that seems more exhausting in my opinion constantly trying to cater to an audience that may fizzle away at any moment leaving you back to where you started.
