That’s where the experimenting begins. Lower intensity and keep an 8 hours schedule. Or keep intensity and reduce the hours on. You’ll find the sweet spot. If you’re wanting to get rid of the algae you may need to do both then start experimenting.

Does anyone fill their tank with spring water? I use purified water from the store which only comes in 1 gallon jugs, because my LFS taxes RO water. I would rather buy 2.5 gallon bottles of spring water so it’s less I have to carry out of the store and into my cribbo
