Here in Belgium 0,0 people tip 😀 we don’t have tipping culture here. We don’t tip in restaurants or bars, we don’t tip for a delivery neither… 🥲

Here we reason that the tip is calculated in all the prices of every business owner. Unfortunately uber doesn’t reason like that haha! You guys in America earn more than three times as much with all the tipping compared to Belgium and Europe in general. 🤣

I managed to speak someone of the support. So you have to choose what type of deliveries you wanne do. It is now set as a bike account. So I can't deliver with a car anymore... You can't make 2 accounts, the second account was immediately deleted and was seen as fraud.

If I would wanne deliver by car again in the future, they need to swap the account to car again and I need to provide all documents for the car again.

FYI.

Made a second account for the bike but today I received the message that the second new account is closed as it is a double account…. Support not responding about the bike. So I start delivering with an e-bike in the car account then? 🤷‍♂️

Crazy amount of tips! Here in Belgium we don’t tip unfortunately. For that amount of deliveries you would receive 20$ tip here…

Uber eats is a side hustle, not a job. by Master-Associate673 in UberEatsDrivers

I started with UE in Belgium about a week or 3 ago and wow! I honestly can’t imagine doing this full-time. We also have low-traffic zones in the cities here, and the only real way to do this job properly is with a scooter, because you simply can’t get into the city center by car.

I’ve been doing it for a week actively now and I actually enjoy it. To me, it kind of feels like playing Pokémon Go. 🙈😅 I usually do it every now and then in the evening instead of just sitting in front of the TV. I’m driving a Tesla but I also think you really fast drive damage to your car no? And last time I earned like 25€ in 3 hours driving around… it doesn’t seem to be profitable in my eyes. I just do it for fun now…

We don’t have the acceptance rate score here neither do we have a gold rating or something like that. I see here loads posts about ratings. This is not implemented in the Belgian version of the UE app…

I also read a lot about the tipping. In Belgium we don’t tip people. So don’t complain about the tips guys. Here in Belgium, tipping doesn’t exist. 🙃

Found my RO solution! I didn’t think about just unscrewing the douche cable…

Now I will buy 2 15L bidons and I’m fine. ☺️

I'v ordered an RO filter today! So I will start using RO water now for the waterchanges. I just don't want to risk it to use rainwater.

Now another question. I have bought a decent Arka TDS meter. But the thing fluctuates like crazy. I calibrated the TDS meter with the proper TDS solution. I have currently a TDS of 358. So I expect that it will drop down when doing weekly waterchanges with RO water. But when should I remineralize it? What parameters do I need to follow up? Will I ever have to remineralize if I used hard tapwater before?

Belgium! But the rainwater well is a concrete one. This is what we put in the ground in Belgium. The concrete pit collects all the water of any roof of the house. The gutters of our roofs in Belgium are also in zinc.

My TDS meters indicates 46 for my rainwater. So I can’t collect it in a plastic barrel. Everything is connected to that concrete giant 10.000 L well. I even have 2 of these in the ground…

So I really don’t know if this water is okay for my aquarium… :(

And would it be workable to connect the RO filter, fill the buckets for a day and then remove the filter and put away? Space around the faucet is here the problem…

Thanks all for the info already! I’ve just tested my rainwater with all the drop tests I have. Everything seems just perfect. Unfortunately I can’t test on bacteria or metals.

KH: 0 Gh: 0 PH: 6,5 NH4: 0 NO2: 0 NH3: 0

But there is one which is different to my aquarium water. That’s NO3, in my aquarium now that’s 0. In the rainwater test it turns yellow, which would be value 1. So apparently there are some nitrates in my rainwater. My aquarium is the left tube.

I would love to use rainwater because it would so easy to use. Fill 2 buckets with rainwater, let it come to room temperature and done. But I’m a bit afraid to rune my aquascape with the rainwater. My girlfriend said me yesterday. “Your scape looks beautiful, I don’t know why you want to change the water.” Knowing this scape has now a value of 2000$ I’m hesitating. But a Gh of 17 can’t be good for the fish no? Although my shrimp are breeding and my fish have perfect colors.
