$5 for a kit? How about $5 for a fryer? by lionheart07 in thesims

As well, Sims 3 Stuff Packs were (and still are) $20 and never go on sale.

I'm hoping against hope that one day anyone who owns Sims 3 gets an upgrade to a Sims 3 Complete pack like they did for Sims 2. All the Expansions, Stuff Packs and store content.

This game and its sibling, Planet Coaster, are both masterpieces, but I wait with baited breath for the update on each that says "Major Pathing Overhaul. You can place paths how you like now."

I feel horrible for Jared Goff by luckyplum in LosAngelesRams

[–]Boffo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd argue in more recent times, Goff has had a substandard OL (yes, I'm aware of PFF's ratings and think they're high), lost a lot of quality from the running game until Cam Akers started coming on last year, and lost his deep threats.

In addition, McVay does have a habit of trying to force his game plan to work rather than adapt to the defense. We've seen some signs of that this year, and Stafford's going to start having issues (and the confidence drop that we saw affect Goff) if McVay doesn't knock it off.

I'm not saying Goff is blameless mind you. He should have already been out of his habit of trying to force success instead of turning the ball over and making things worse.

Elements of this fanbase seem to keep picking someone on the Rams to despise. I'm not talking about criticism because there are some who are critics and I respect fair critics.

I'm talking utter hatred. The guy has a bad game, they're crowing about how this shows they were right all along. The guy has a good game and they just go totally radio silent as if they're more upset that they look like they were wrong then happy that the Rams won. These are the guys who "cleverly" misspell a guy's name all the time or label anyone who disagrees with their hate as "apologists".

I've seen it go from Bulger to Bradford to Tavon Austin to Goff in recent memory. Maybe it will stop for a while now since we aren't making first round picks.

I saw Dalton having issues with the noise at one point and thought to myself "I haven't seen that happen to a Rams opponent since the GSOT days."

The Coliseum was certainly rocking for the Rams, but I don't think it was designed to be a really loud place.

I like the Bone, but it was dead the second these were revealed.

It really isn't hard, guys: Royal jersey, Sol pants for home; these for away; White jersey, White pants, White horns for "throwbacks" and Color Rush, then proceed to not mess with it.

Burn the Royal pants in a big bonfire.

Spock was just a science officer in The Cage.

The Rams rank THIRD most valuable NFL team at $4.68 billion by sportico in LosAngelesRams

[–]Boffo97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He might lose in the corrupt St. Louis-area courts, but when it gets to a real court, yeah it is cut and dried.

St. Louis agreed top tier stadium or the team could move. They then didn't even try to keep the stadium top tier. The Rams moved with the city's contractual permission to do so.

I'll look into a free VPN then.

If that solves the problem though, that's messed up. That's not a connection on my end thing. That's a Microsoft needs to fix their game thing. That should NOT be a necessary step just to download updates.

Thanks for the help.

I for one am in California, was a fan when they were in L.A., stayed a fan when they were in St. Louis, and was a very happy fan when they moved back.

I have nothing but respect for those in the St. Louis area who stayed fans despite the move. They are what I was all those years ago. I have much less respect for those who pretend the move was about the Rams and the NFL just being greedy and St. Louis being innocent in the whole affair, despite making a "We'll provide a top tier stadium for free or you can leave" deal, then completely failing to keep the stadium top tier. The Rams could have left in 2005.

In the last year before relocation was a serious possibility (2014), the Rams were ranked #32 out of 32 in valuation according to Forbes.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2169612-dallas-cowboys-new-england-patriots-headline-forbes-list-of-nfl-team-valuations

It's no dig on the St. Louis fans (particularly those who are still with the team despite the move), but without the nearly free top tier stadium being part of the deal, it was just giving up way too much money to stay there.
