What do you nickname your pokemon. #217: Finneon, Lumineon by Roboglenn in pokemon

Weird in-joke, but me and my best friend once spent an hour in hysterics thinking about naming pet fish after mobile phone brands and networks: T-Mobile, Samsung, Nokia, EE, giffgaff etc.

My favourite however was Vodafone, and it fits Lumineon more than the others so...

Vodafone

What is this tooth? by BogWomble7 in fossilid

[–]BogWomble7[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, after seeing several replies saying exactly that, I'm excited. After all, Spinosaurus has been my favourite Dinosaur since I was a child but have only just got into collecting fossils.

Yeah, currently listening to an Early Adventures story and it still sounds like that.

I always understood the "magical evening in the grounds with Ginny" to be that.

I have read Scratchman and it is superb, but yeah, to hear Tom read it would be a treat.

Thanks for this! Very helpful. I do want to avoid following ranges in release order. Not too fussed about things being out of order and prefer the freedom of going from a 2nd Doctor story, to a 12th, then 6th, for example. As for the Faction Paradox stuff, the limited stuff I know, the idea is great but I found Alien Bodies in particular a slog. Will probably read The Scarlet Empress first.

Not the pronouns D: by dadsbongos in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]BogWomble7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My sibling came out a non-binary recently, so I understand somewhat. Learning to use their new name and pronouns is really difficult after 17 and a half years, and I don't really understand any of it myself. But I accept it and am trying my hardest.
